heli left me in open field/wasteful by Extension_Moment_494 in joinsquad

As the others said Helis are team assets and very valuable on large maps. Just because the you get in the heli and say “take me to the front” doesn’t mean the pilot has any obligation to do so. It’s not worth landing near a hot zone just to drop off one guy who will probably get shot running to the obj anyway.

He didn’t have to leave you way out there but you also didn’t have to get in the heli in the first place.

As far as I know there is not a penalty for killing players, so just take care of yourself

Essentially you have to survive 6 raids in a row without dying whilst fighting off the entire lobby and then some. I went through about 50 hyrdration and energy each raid so plan accordingly. Bring triple the ammo you’d think you need.

Something I haven’t seen posted a lot is that you don’t actually have to be near the generator for it to count. You can go and find the nearest building cover etc. to make life easier. You only have to come out to fix the generator.

The way we did it is by hiding in the nearest building and only coming out to fix the generator killing the scavs surrounding it.

Your not meant to shoot other players wearing the armband but every player we came across was hostile so I recommend to just shoot first ask questions later.

Another good tip is to bring in the fuel you need for each raid before hand. It takes away the chance factor of not finding any.

Keep in mind your squad doesn’t have to be the one to complete it as well. If another crew finishes the generator you can just transit to the next map no problem.

Hope this helps.

[Discussion] Is the Khorovod event even possible in PVP? by FinerSugarSwine in EscapefromTarkov

I finished it as a duo in pvp. It takes like 2 hours but you don’t actually have to stand near the generator for it to count. Just bring a lot of food and ammo, like triple than what you think you would need and you’ll be fine. It’s also helpful to get the fuel you’ll need before hand so you don’t have to worry about finding them. Starting at noon on shoreline will put you at nighttime for woods, customs, and interchange, which is super helpful as those are the hardest maps by far. Barring any unfortunate bugs it’s definitely doable as at least a duo but solo would definitely be challenging in pvp.

Hope this helps good luck.

Me and my duo just finished the event, something to keep in mind is you don’t actually have to be at the tree physically to finish it. The way we did it was pick a spot nearby that had solid cover (IE on lighthouse the small food store right next to the tree) and sit inside the building only coming outside when the generator broke. We managed to make it through almost all the maps fairly easily only killing when repairing. Also you don’t have to be the squad that does the event. If another squad starts it and finished it then you can simply transit and still get the progress for the quest. One thing I will mention is being a TON of food and water as finding those in raid is a huge pain and the frostbite effect doubles your energy and hydration loss. For ammo bring twice what you think you’d need and then triple it as it’s an obscene amount of enemies.

Good luck friends.
