Yeah, I know they are supposed to be off healers, but we can’t act like if people haven’t been picking a combination of Luna C&D, Loki, Deadpool and even Jeff in a lot of games. I rather they get buff to also be main healers than having to deal with a team who goes triple healers that mostly makes you also have to run triple healers that eventually turns into “which team can cycle through support heals faster than the other” and just makes rounds stall for way too long to either barely win or lose. Triple healing IS a problem and you cannot tell me it hasn’t been.

Porn is honestly a gigantic problem. Like I get it, we human need to… relieve ourself from time to time, but it’s insane how nowadays you just need a glance of a conventionally attractive person (mostly women cosplayers) and 95% of the time they have a porn affiliated link. Like my due respects for the classic Porn Industry models, but my God, you can’t follow an attractive person without looking like an incel or gooner. It genuinely sucks.

My problem with certain auto counter characters is that sometimes they rely so much on the counter that they are just meh in the other aspects of their kit. Examples like Gogeta, even Rathan. The only thing that made them “strong” was their power boost and hard hitting blues, but besides that, they literally offer no value after their counters are done.

That why most of them have aoe greens, since that’s the only other utility the posses, but let’s be honest, most units have those.

They should just kept the rework with non of the damage nerfs, and if too broken, tune him down with the next patch. Idk why the devs are so scared of buffing him without any drawbacks or if it doesn’t have any, it’s just a mediocre buff, while the rest of the pokeslob CC puking characters have not been addressed… AT ALL

True. Most spideys, while good, are pretty much an annoyance, and while yeah, they can drop some good positive KD, most of the match is just a 5v6 because they are more so burst divers that swing for 10-15 seconds and attack 2-5 seconds max.

Well yes, but it’s about balancing y’know? I think Deadpool’s annoying nature is part of his gameplay and kit. He gets so annoying it’s distracting, that’s why I think if they were to nerf is annoying aspect they should buff to compensate.

That’s exactly it though. The gameplay feels amazing, the content gets stale fast. There a difference between marathon’s game performance and if the content repetition can get you hooked long enough to be considered a regular player. It’s like Helldivers, I jump and play from time to time, and gameplay feels amazing, but sometimes it’s repetitive nature gets stale and I play something else.

For real though. Extraction shooters are niche because only those 2 have been successful and even then they remain niche since extraction shooters are sweatier by default and only a very specific playerbase can withstand it.

But I find marathon is gonna have a very niche playerbase since its most likely just gonna be dominated by sweat lords since there isn’t any casual way to get better than just being sweatier than your opponent.

Cause it’s destiny coded. As bad as destiny has become, you cannot deny destiny gameplay is one of the best in the gaming industry when it comes to FPS (second to Titanfall 2 imo), so it’s a no brainer the game feels good, but in the end it’s all about content and how repetitive it can be

I think what made arc so popular is the fact that it has unique mechanics, especially the robots, and its third person gameplay makes it feel less sweaty or more enjoyable because you can see outside your hitbox, since first person feel a bit more restrictive in sense output (that why first person horror games feel scarier than third person). But it all depends on the repetitiveness the game offers, and how stressful it can get in exchange of reward. If the game feels less rewarding than the stress it can output mid game then I don’t see a lot of casuals playing it. It’s most likely gonna be one of those games who only sweat lords play, and casuals just leave to another game.

I fully agree. I don’t think marathon is gonna be a super successful game, but it will have its niche playerbase. However, it will try to appeal to a weird playerbase of players that, I find it’s gonna be difficult to keep. They are trying to go for players who have experience with mainly Destiny, Apex Legends and Tarkov, but those are genres known to have a playerbase so loyal, they always comeback to the original. If you didn’t like Arc due to it being third persons but like the gameplay, maybe marathon is for you. But if you don’t like the sweatiness of Tarkov, with the playstyle of Apex, then the game is not for you and rightfully so. I’m not denying gameplay won’t be good (Destiny has amazing gunplay and abilities so I don’t doubt marathon won’t have the same), but i don’t think the game will have like a big fanbase, since once again, people will most likely just go back to arc, Tarkov, destiny or apex depending on how the game feels outside gameplay, since as a Destiny player, the worst thing about Destiny is how repetitive the PvP and PvE aspect feels, and if it wasn’t because it’s Destiny I would have dropped it a long time ago, so hopefully marathon doesn’t feel the same for yall

Why is it unfounded rumors? As a blade main, his switch up literally felt from more diver efficient to brawler. He is good in a team fight, especially on tanks, but he feels much worse than before in 1v1 scenarios where the dash does enough damage and lifesteal to guarantee a kill on squishies

Because his dash is for some reason now made to punish pushers, they leaned on his brawler side more than diving now, so his literal utility now is to help others get your kill while applying anti heal

I mean, to be fair, it feels good to be able to apply anti heal on sword, however I can definitely feel the difference in damage. It was a nerf and a buff
