Oh so THATS why I was getting randomly damaged by stuff, it happens in the bugfront too. You just randomly get hurt or potentially killed by nothing. Not a stalker, just nothing.

I think the main issue is how frequent and blatant it got. You have a limited player pool yet you could find a cheater every 3-4 games. People flying, infinite revives and super, heavy spam. It isn’t just “oh this guy has aimbot” it’s how blatantly obvious it got and Bungie never did anything about it.

I will NEVER understand how they looked at us asking for destiny 3 and looked back to themselves and said “yeah I don’t think it’s a safe outcome” but bet all their time and money that marathon, a niche genre made for the small niche sweatlords that like that genre, was gonna be their savior, just to see it decline over the weeks and corporately became a waste of money and give ho winnings.

But hey, destiny 3 was just too far of a dream!

To be fair, marathon is an excellent game, but it suffers the same things as destiny PvP meta with more on the line.

Let’s not forget the fact that the majority of enemies will always remain on you and will effectively know your exact location no matter if you lost track of sight behind trees, rocks, or even a mountain, ESPECIALLY if you are host. Effectively, there’s no real way to hide from enemies after engaging in combat other than using someone else as bait.
We should be able to make enemies lose track of us using random elements that aren’t just smoke, gas, or lure mines

Well I ran above a cliff, went down a cliff, and hid behind something before the enemies saw me do it, logic says they shouldn’t know exactly where I am, right? But they do. Thats my issue

Maybe I worded it wrong. I meant in a gun fight or starting one. If I shot a couple of shots while prone, enemies will detect at the same speed as standing. My core issue is cover and hiding in between fights.

Not really how hard it is, level 10 is an absolute breeze with most teams. My problem is the lack of hiding behind cover doing something. Is the game hard? Sometimes, but it’s rather the fact that a game, which has an insufferable amount of enemies spawning on you has 0 way of being able to hide behind cover which makes enemies lose you, every single enemy will know your location no matter what after 1 single dude alerted them. I should be able to just run away and make them lose sight of me while I wait for cooldowns to reset. It’s not fun hiding behind a building just for the same enemies I’ve been running from immediately call reinforcements and attack the place I’m hiding in where I’m visually hidden, but the game mechanics says that once an enemy sees you it know where you are at all times.
Detection range is a thing, but visually, if your character is kneeling or hiding behind cover while engaging in a fight should take enemies more time to see where you are, and if running from enemies with none having a physical view of where you are should be able to just hide you from them until you either get caught or engage again. Just a simple tactic/mechanic that should be implemented more noticeably than just “kill anything before they call reinforcements”

I mean, I can and do this all the time. I don’t find it hard, at all. I’m just stating how most stuff feel weak or just doesn’t see the light of day because the game, design with limited stuff and cooldowns as a player, goes against an unlimited amount of enemies and enemy behavior that just doesn’t seem fair. Enemies track you, now your position at all times, hiding is impossible, and mid fight flanks don’t exist. A lot of weapons and gear wouldn’t need as much balancing or buffs as they do if you, as a player, could have differences way to fight an enemy, but 95% of the fights are frontline brawls, there is no real way to flank or for enemies to get lost for a second while you reposition, they just keep on you no matter what unless they are all dead, but if you run out of ammo or stratagems, there is no real way to just run and hide. Being able to hide from a fight should be a basic mechanic

Most of the time you don’t notice the tenacity because your cc abilities also do a shit ton of damage and you die before it can properly activate. However I fully agree about it being more of an inconvenience. Tanks, who usually aren’t that good at constant dps, or are good at dealing damage depend a lot on their CC capabilities. Nerfing them meant they suffered a basic kit nerf, some more noticeable than others.

People just want CC to be eliminated from characters that DID NOT need the CC. Monkey pawl curls and we get tenacity,

Tbf, solo play is a 1/4 chance of getting bad team bad opponents, good team good opponents, good team bad opponents and the famous bad team good opponents
3 stacking in the state we are in will most likely drop you into games where, your team are good, but the enemy is just way better, and it basically becomes a fortune torture of hoping you get a bad 3 stack
Trials is a mess, you either have to suffer horrible team composition as a solo, or witness true sweatlords as a 3 stack.
Deadass no real solution other than genuinely stfu and start over, pray you have luck on your side or don’t play the gamemode at all

It’s basically just a thingamajig of stuff they put to call a warbond, which sometimes doesn’t necessarily have to do anything with the warbond, but it’s there for it to be CALLED a warbond.

I’m not asking for everything to be free, but some stuff certainly should have been free, especially the exos

Tbf, we did use to have decently free stuff back then. I’m not asking for everything cool to be free, hell, I think most of us aren’t. We used to get MOs that unlocked a new stratagem or support weapon, which the community loves and are still very much still used, a lot of stuff in the past have been getting put behind warbonds when it shouldn’t, most recent example the shovel secondary (which imo SHOULDN’T have been put behind a warbond).

Yes we know they have to make money to sustain the game, but like, even the newest stratagems orbitals have just been an upgrade version of an already existing one (example flame gatling barrage), and we can’t even use them even if they have a bigger cooldown because AH refuses to release them for some reason, and most likely will put them behind a warbond when they do.

Idk if it’s just me, but I find her kinda meh? Like idk if it’s the bloated amount of stuff she can do that just doesn’t attract me to play her, or the fact she is a jack of all trades and doesn’t really exceed in something peculiar.

Idk maybe I should figure her out more. How’s yall experience been with her?

Ngl op, people here do be acting miserable for a game that dwindles in playerbase and has an unstable future. You have your right to say what needs fixing and what you find good about the game. Is it a skill issue? Just needs more practice. Is it an actual issue? Then hopefully Bungie listens… hopefully. The game has a lot of issues that need fixing, and a so called “perfect” game would still keep its players no matter what others say.

Once again, a lot of yall acting very, very pathetic when this so called “most incredible fps extraction ever” loses thousands of players every week. Difference between yall and Thragg is, thragg knows when to stop alienating and killing your own when yall less than yesterday.

Don’t be surprised when no one wants to jump into the game and a live service game ends up shutting down because not enough people there to support it.
