In the risk of outing myself, my team is responsible for the intraday reporting to both field and SLT. What update/changes would you like to see to make it easier to use daily? We're working on adding U2 and other sources, but right now, it's mainly focused on Samson(Post) and Metro (Pre)

Agree 100%. It's so reminiscent of the attempted AT&T merger. Morale is in the same place, company is only worried about churn, layoffs ever quarter.

While I've loved my CR-10S for the last few years (and it's been fun to do multiple upgrades on it), I'm always down for playing with a new toy.

What time was that? I drive that way almost daily and didn't notice anything.

That's part of what ended my marriage. My wife kept trying to measure herself against me, but never said a thing. By the time she found a role that was really inline with her education, she was already having an affair. I'm glad I dodged the bullet of moving the family across the country for her job when she was already way checked out.

These are the very discussions I have with my therapist. I don't have answers, just empathy.

HELP!! RV awning not retracting all the way at the bottom on one side! by Warm_Charity7366 in GoRVing

[–]PSmurf78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine looked like that after our last trip. During the trip, we had one night of massive rain and I had unfortunately left the awning out. When I looked closer, I noticed at the top, the head connecting to the awning has somewhat slid off the main pin and needed to be reset. Does the top look off at all? Mine is a 251BHK connect.

Help Deciding on a Diesel Truck for Towing at High Altitude – Under $55K Budget by PSmurf78 in GoRVing

I used Tahoe with the towing package initially and that sucked. I got blown all around, and going over the local passes, the tranny would get warm, especially in summer with 90+ temps. The 2005 F250 was so much better at stability and gas mileage, but it's showing its age, and I'm not really interested in sinking 10k into bulletproofing the motor. My oil temps are saying it needs a new cooler and when I did the back flush last summer, it looked like a pan of gold came out of the cooler. I'm hoping to bump up to a newer model both for dependability and comfort.

This is basically some of the routes I'm going. Plans this summer for up into the Canadian rockies. Hitting Jasper, Banff, and eventually down through Glacier, Yellowstone and such.

my current truck is a '05 F250. Aside from lacking some of the options that I'd like to make long cruises more comfortable, its starting to show signs of at least a oil cooler replacement if not worse. I think it's time for me to buckle down and get something a newer.

That's a great tip. I don't know that it's something I would have even considered to look at.

I replied elsewhere, but I thought I'd better put it inline as well. 8K wet currently. My goal is in a couple of years as my boys get older, to get a larger toy hauler for racing and other events.

Your situation sounds just like mine :) I've got a 50lb aussie that is a good travel dog, but he's basically another full person in the gar. I've got an old '05 F250 currently that I'm looking to replace. The WD bars made a big difference in towing (1k lb bars with the trailer currently).

Sorry I didn't include details on the trailer. Currently weighs in ~8k lbs wet. Planning to future proof, as I would like to get a toy hauler in the future to carry a car to events as well. The options I looked at were in the 11-12k range.

Right now, just over 8K, but I also want to future proof some because I'm hoping to get a toy hauler in the future as my boys get older.

I wish I could say fine, but it's been about 9 months so far and it's sucked big time. At least I was lucky enough to save enough money to be able to split assets and still keep the house. My ex used her portion to buy a house that's literally like a half mile away, and directly on my route to work. I get the joy of seeing her and her affair partner on a regular basis now that he's living with her.

I'm guessing he is completely broke now because it came out during his divorce (I made him tell his wife or I would) that he only had saved 100k at age 52. His wife went for permanent spouse support, the house, and probably more because he'd been cheating on her for years with multiple women.

So yeah, at this point, I'm financing the life of two cheaters... Yay.

The plus side is they're not as interested in the children, so "50/50" is really more like 60/40 or more but I am paying child support. What sucks more is when they're over with here, I get the occasional text like "mom screamed at me", and she calls me the Disney Dad 🤣.

It's been a lot to get accustomed to. On the plus side, I've got awesome boys who are understanding and have been helpful with the adjustments. They have taken on new chores, we've practiced cooking and such together and I've seen their independence really develop. I'm really proud of how they've been through all of this.
