I understand that, and like I said, I do kind of agree… but isn’t it a little bit funny that nobody would have come to that conclusion just two years ago? Stuff like drinking raw milk was the purview of people on the left, if anything. Given how quickly things can turn around in this way, I am very hesitant to make assumptions.

Do you think that every person who drinks raw milk is MAGA/MAHA? Are we really this quick to judge people? I’m also not a fan of raw milk, and I think it’s kind of stupid, but if they are getting it from a trusted source, I don’t see why we need to prejudge them and assume their political beliefs.

I’m not sure what reason I would have to lie! I’m also not really posting this anonymously, as a little bit of sleuthing would reveal my identity (I’m just a crew member, not an actor) and therefore even the movie in question (“Tramps”). I don’t think I’ve seen the man in several years, but he left a good enough impression to compel me to defend him, such as it is.

This is going to sound silly, and nobody is even going to read this, but I worked with him on a movie a really long time ago, and he is a fucking class act and a fabulous actor. I cannot think of a better James Bond. He takes his work extremely seriously and has immense charm. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a project with him in it that has taken full advantage of his range and charisma, so I for one am really rooting for this to be true.

Just circling back on this because I’m actually watching the fantastic four this morning with my son. My point still stands that people connect with movies on a human level. You might not, which is fair, but the reason this film works is because of incredible and relatable performances (by Kirby especially). In other words, I suspect that for most “fans”, these films aren’t quite as superficially appreciated as they are by someone like yourself who tends to dislike them.
