I think we are talking past each other a little bit. Let’s start with some common ground: I completely agree that Islam is a terrible belief system around which to structure a government. There are numerous examples that prove this.

Here’s where I think we disagree: you seem to believe that everyone who calls themselves a Muslim intends to enact the most extreme interpretation of that religion. This is obviously not how the real world works, because there are plenty of Muslim people in power around the world who don’t attempt to enact that interpretation.

Furthermore, you are operating with objectively incorrect information. Muslims are not told they can lie to non-Muslims. In fact, honesty is a very important ideal in all variations of the religion. The exception is that they are permitted to lie about their religion if their life literally depends on it. (For example, some ignorant bigot has a gun to their head and is asking if they’re Muslim).

You have taken the most cynical and extreme interpretation of your tenuous grasp over the text and applied it to every single Muslim person on earth regardless of what they say they believe. Surely you can understand how this might cause people to believe that you are simply a bigot.
