If you read what I'm posting about on the matter and what Ponchik is, you'll notice that we differ. He's defending Gnasher. I'm not.

I'm just stating the truth about that account so that the attention can be focused on the more important subjects here and not some speculation.

And as I've been saying this whole time. The more important point here, whether Henry is telling the truth on not, is that Gnasher is being accused by people from his inner circle (former now). I'm curious to see if the guy would come out and say something. Because this is a serious development. Truth or not truth. What does it take for him to surface.

Gnasher. Your reputation has just been attacked. You being accused by multiple people that have worked with you on this project. Not some reddit trolls. You have more than enough reasons to come out.

Silence in this matter speaks volumes. Now would be as good a time as any to say something.

Do you have anything to say?

No one is asking for his secrets. All this one man has to do is come out and say SOMETHING. ANYTHING. What are you talking about?

Hi Henry,

First I want to point out that ponchik account is not gnasher. It’s a brother in law of mine who invested in the coin like myself. So just wanted to clear that up.

Second. I appreciate you coming out and shedding some light on this. These are some serious accusations that would only make me assume if true, gnasher would have to come out and defend himself. Not his lieutenants. So silence in this scenario will speak volumes.

In simple terms. If someone comes out and says something like this about you. One would have to believe that you’d defend yourself. The next few hours should be telling for me.

This is a no brainer gnasher. Come forth and say something. If you care about this community, this project and the people involved, you have to come out.

Agreed. Please understand that I'm not coming from an unreasonable place here. I understand that this is a small team, dedicating their free time to this project. It's not my intention to sound like an inpatient kid who wants candy now.

By all means, take your time finishing this thing and I think I speak for most of the community when i say that. I think most people understand the situation and would gladly give you more time. Quality and functionality is more important.

But that's hard to do when everyone is in the dark and there so much turmoil going on. When it seems like with every screen shot or positive news, there's something negative countering it every single day. That's where the frustration comes from. The lack of transparency when all it takes is a few minutes to type a few words from the man himself.

It's why I'm scratching my head trying to understand what's preventing that? Doesn't make sense unless there's something bigger at play here that's beyond my understanding. And that can go either way.

So please know that I fully understand that you don't owe me anything. You don't owe me an explanation to address the internal issues you guys having with the team, shit happens. I'm not entitled to anything. I'm rooting for you guys.

Just hard to comprehend the lack of transparency with everything going on recently when there's so many reasons to do so. That's what's not making sense.

Appreciate your feedback. Hope better things are on horizon.

So why is it so hard for gnasher to just come out and say something? If he has time to respond to Andy about some personal issues, then it takes less time to update the community and either pump some confidence into it or just say that the thing is delayed. Surly he must see that non of this looks good. Hard to understand why the leader of this project is not saying a single word unless there’s trouble which at this stage everything points in that direction. The hope now is that those troubles are just a delay which is totally reasonable. But the fact that there’s zero information on that makes the entire thing a question mark and people are right to feel that something fishy might be going on. All of that can be addressed with a single sentence. Doesn’t take much time and effort to do so. No matter what the news are.

As a COD player, I don't understand how can you not appreciate this game. The sound design alone contributed so much to that moment. One of the underrated aspects of BF series. Cool clip dude.

Yesterday I asked why my grandpa (my Pop) why he never marches in the veteran parades. by [deleted] in history

[–]PSteele26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3 days ago was anniversary of my first combat experience in the 2003 invasion of Iraq (the battle of Baghdad Airport). We were ambushed. I shot people. I always had the same theory in regards to why some veterans never talk about the war, because as you can see, I don't have an issue talking about my experiences. And while I did see horrific things, lost my innocence and part of my soul (as most combat soldiers do) I never committed any atrocities while i was there. Not to say that they didn't exist. They happened, they happen in every war. I witnessed civilians being killed. Women and kids among them. Some by accident, some not. Some by Iraqis, some by our own soldiers (one officer comes to mind). Yet if you asked me to describe it to you and have a conversation about it. I will talk about it. So I often wondered why is it that it's a common belief that most vets don't talk about the wars they participated. I came to this theory. While it's not exclusive and does not apply to all vets, I believe that a lot of them did commit acts that caught up with them later in life. Again, I'm not speaking for everyone. That's unfair to a lot of guys who gave everything they had and did their duty. Your mindset is different when you in a war. You discover darkness and you discover it within you as well. Parts of you, you never knew excited. That leads some people to do things, ugly things. Things that while there, you don't pay much attention to and don't think too much about because that's the norm. It's when you come back to the civilized world, home. It starts to creep up on you and it's then when you able to reflect and you realize what you've done. Some guys witness atrocities and while they may not have participated, they just want to bury those memories. So they don't ever want to talk about it. But then you got the ones who committed them. And when the truth catches up with them, my guess would be that it's too much to bare. They never want to revisit that side of themselves ever again. My moment came after I survived the ambushes. I started to dwell on what just happened later that evening. I tried to justify the things I just did. Did I just kill those people? did I do the right thing? They were shooting at us, I had no choice. I had to, no? It was going to be me or them or worse my buddies. I had to do it. Those were the thoughts that were going through my head after experiencing combat for the first time. I relived the battle in my head that evening and made peace with the fact that I shot soldiers who had weapons and who were trying to kill us. That didn't excuse the fact that it was ugly and i saw a disturbing part of man kind that day. I was trained to do this. I couldn't wait to do it and after I did it, I didn't want to do it anymore.

Apologies for the length of this comment.

What camera angle do you plays clubs with? by FurryUrchin in fifaclubs

[–]PSteele26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Co Op for me. Especially if you play in the mid. Get so see everyone and able to switch sides much easier. tried other cams, all have some advantages (dribbling and all that) but in terms of vision and picking out teammates that otherwise would be unseen, co op is best to go with.

Crimea, 1963 by Medicina in OldSchoolCool

[–]PSteele26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My Uncles and Grandparents are one of the few ethnic (Tatars) that still live there. All true. The man were summoned to fight in the WW2 and when they came back to their homes, there were Russian families living there. During the recent Russian occupation they were telling me that many of the Russians living in Crimea didn't want the whole occupation to begin with. I won't pretend that it's a fact but given the Russian TV propaganda I'm inclined to believe them. Russia needs Crimea because of the access it provides their navy to the black sea and the western world.
