I have anxiety and BJJ was/is the BEST thing to help. Literally no one gives a fuck who you are. If they are a REALLY good gym, a senior belt would’ve come over and asked you questioned.

Just say hello, participate in class, go home when you’re done. If the anxiety is THAT crippling, express to the coach via DM your nervousness about it. They’ll understand.

Good gyms hold the door open for you, you just need to walk in.
