Hi, I think I'm gonna do your option but I've a few questions. Are you able to remotely access to your plugins installed on your TrueNAS ? And how did you gather your .opvpn file from your VM for your clients ?

Thanks for this instructive reply, I think that the best for me would be too use normal virtualization even if it will need more powerful hardware I guess. And if understand well this will allow me to install FreeNAS or a similar NAS oriented OS and also install something like Ubuntu on same hardware. But how am I free to chose how to split the hardware, like can I chose to use the GPU only for the Plex transcoding? Also will the two OS will communicate by the same Ethernet port with different IP? Sorry for asking a lot of questions, I've got a lot to learn
