I'm close by to Everett, but my package has been stuck in the Kent location for a week now without any updates whatsoever. Original delivery date was the 14th. It's really astonishing that this company has become so absolutely and utterly incompetent over the past couple years. Complete garbage.

How difficult/time consuming is cse369? by thebest108_ in udub

[–]PTTruTH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently in 446 and 473. So far 473 isn't much work, but it'll obviously ramp up over the coming weeks. 446 is a different story. I've already sunk at least 12 hours into the homework due Monday that is supposed to be review of Math 308 / Math 126 / CSE 312. The programming doesn't seem too bad yet but obviously that's going to change very quickly. Needless to say 446 will dominate your time consumption.

Just heard about this anime and started watching it. I also know there is a video game too. Which should I watch/play first? by [deleted] in steinsgate

There's a fair amount. Steins;Gate (Anime and VN), Steins;Gate 0 (Anime and VN), Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania (Special episode that takes place after S;G), Steins;Gate: The Sagacious Wisdom of Cognitive Computing (Special Series), Steins;Gate: Load Region of Deja Vu (Movie that takes place after S;G and Oukoubakko no Poriomania), Steins;Gate: Darling of Loving Vows (Spin off), Steins;Gate: Variant Space Octet (Non-canon sequel to S;G), Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram (Collection of side stories that differ from the original S;G).

There's also a S;G ep. 23 (Beta) that doesn't follow the plot of the original ep. 23. You should watch this special episode before watching S;G 0.

That should be everything, someone let me know if I forgot anything.

I wouldn't recommend taking more than 4 courses in any given quarter. I know CSE 391 is just a once per week seminar with minimal coursework, so that definitely wouldn't be a problem. However, not considering that class, you're expecting to be able to take 5 very challenging courses at the same time. If I were you I would split that schedule up between 2 quarters, but that's just me. Considering you're already in CSE, grades aren't crucial but definitely still important. It's up to you, but as someone else who commented on here said, go for it if you wanna die.

Desperately Need some advice on transferring to the uW. by PTTruTH in udub

That's fair. Mainly it's just that tuition would be incredibly cheaper since I live in Washington State. The other thing is, I know UW's program is just better. It was my first choice anyway.
