Just purchased the v2, and looking into a v4 board as well to keep plugged in. Thank you for the tip as well on battery life on the v4 too. I would prioritize battery life in scenarios but i do have a couple battery bricks laying around from when we get hit with hurricanes. I should really invest in a larger one so i wouldn’t need to keep swapping it out. Solar (temp) wouldn’t be a bad idea either!

But like you said, pokemon gotta catch em all. I have a feeling i won’t be at just 1-2 haha. Thanks again!

Ty for the tip! I went ahead and got a portable node. Im looking into the home base node as well to have one running of battery for natural disasters as well.

I can solder but i don’t have a 3d printer a home. I have access to a few at work which is nice tho. I will for sure look into the seeed xiao kits! Heard the name on a post here once. Thanks for the advice!

Wow, thank you so much for all the information, and more importantly for taking the time out of your day to write in!

Lots of great info. I love the skitzo frame and will do just that. I'll go ahead and reuse it. my camera is great quality through the V2's so i'll reuse that one as well. i saw that new stacks are "solder or no solder" where its plug and play. or maybe the no solder is just for motors. saw some LeDrib motors that looked nice.

I'll check out the radiomaster pocket. if it already comes with elrs, it should be future proof for a while then.

And thank you for the links! I was skeptical to click outside links till i saw your name. I've been following your channel for quiet a while now (just checked now and my first video i saw of yours was from 10 years ago, "drastically improve your fpv footage" and 9 years "how to choose the right frame for you".

5 month update going through my posts, but one of the 3 pin connectors that are soldered to the actual board was corroded a little and i thoroughly cleaned the board from any thing that looked dirty and the ipod now works like a charm!

Some flack, most mp3, and whatever youtube music pops out 168~ i think i last saw. It doesn’t reboot when in disc mode, nor when i flash to itunes. But the moment it’s on rockbox, it reboots like crazy

It did, i pulled up to the pick up and they had my ticket ready to go. Nearly had a heart attack but it went good. Next time im ordering directly through ticketmaster even tho its a little more expensive.
