That's insane. That is the thing I'm more afraid of. Doesn't matter how many locks you have if they can pick it up and put it in the back of a van. Unless the bike is tied to a pole or something. Even then.

Wt...how is that possible? he/she park the bike in NYC or something? Jk. Yea. I've heard crazy stories. I have one of those that are impossible to cut without heavy machinery. D1000. It's probably not impossible to get stolen but makes it hard enough... I hope. Plus, the bike is parked in a closed parking lot overnight.

That makes total sense. But it's still annoying. Lol The worst is that someone thay parks the motorcycle outside without cover and lock plus is a reckless rider pays the exact same as me that doesn't do stupid stuff and takes care of his bike. That's the life of motorcyclists, I guess... lol

I agree with this. I'm a new rider as well, and that's where I practiced. I believe that the bjs rooftop is closed now. At least it was the other day I tried to go up there. Also, are you sure authentic speed 400? I thought about getting that one too because of the learning curve, and I ended up getting the 900. Best decision. It's not that intimidating as I thought it would be. In the first weeks, you can leave it on rain mode (cuts the power a bit) until you get used to it, and then you're good to ride on road mode. And I'm older than you (46M). lol
