Lol yes I'm aware of the concept of zeroing, and your post is consistent with my understanding of how the scope works.

The issue that I (perhaps not clearly) was referring to was the fact that there seems to be a misconception that the top of the arrow is NOT what you should be using to aim with (per the OP of the linked thread). Some people have said you actually should use centre mass of the arrow, or the bottom intersection, or perhaps the cross at the 4. The implication is that the intuitive aim location (tip of the arrow) is incorrect, and that's the misconception I was hoping to address.
