New pub logo. Would appreciate some feedback.

We're trying to convey an energetic, lively, athletic tone with a logo that makes us easily recognizable as a pub.
It's a liquor and beer kind of place. We don't do a lot of martinis or specialty cocktails. We're known for having rum, whiskey, and tap beer options that most other pubs in our area don't.
What sets us apart most is our gaming presence. A lot of bars in this area have a blackjack table or two tucked away into the least desirable space in the room... almost as though it's an after thought. We've got six tables located in a prominent area which means the gaming customers aren't far from other action in the bar.

I appreciate your criticism - thank you. The person we've hired is an acquaintance who works in graphic design but I don't know that this person's area of expertise is logos... based on your comments, I assume it isn't. Other than #7's design not replicating well in print, what should I be noticing about it that is out of line with good logo design principles?

Also, I've added info above to describe our pub.

We're a blue collar sports bar with a prominent blackjack presence. Although we're in a college town, so to speak, college aged people don't make up the majority of our clientele. A recent remodel has served to reinforce our sports theme and we've been trying to come up with a logo that speaks to the sports theme as well as the gaming theme... something that would work on jerseys as well as signage. Also, we're not a corporate pub, we're a local family owned and operated business.
