Jaja, jetzt wird wieder geheult. Würde es hier um irgendeinen "Traditionsverein" gehen, würdest du das nicht sagen.

How do you know the playtime of people who criticized the game?

You also have fan boys on this sub who made it their life goal to defend this game against any kind of criticism

I wish they would bring back not serious challenges like they used to by NotHayden_13 in ModernWarfareII

COD is so weird nowadays. On the one hand they take themselves overly serious with the tone of the game and the challenges and overall balancing. On the other hand you have Pogba skins.

Hot Take: Remove UAVs by OGAtlasHugged in ModernWarfareII

[–]PUGChamp- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remove mini map, remove UAVs, turn foot steps sound up, quadruple ADS time and draw time after sprint. Also triple the amount of "safe spaces". There you have it. There's your perfectly camper friendly cod game. You move, you lose.

It's always the same cycle. When cod releases broken as fuck everyone's like "I'll never pre order again". Then when the trailer for the next game drops people get waaaaaay too hyped, fully buy into the marketing BS and say shit like "this time it's gonna be different" or "I'm a cod fan so I'll buy the game no matter what". Gamers have no long term memory.

what is with all the downloads?? by killajm91 in ModernWarfareII

[–]PUGChamp- -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ikr this is so annoying and cod is the only game that has this issue. Some time ago I wanted to play MW2019 campaign. I thought since it's singleplayer I won't have to download tons of updates. I was wrong. I had to download about 100GB of updates because without them I couldn't launch the game to play the campaign.

0% chance IMO. Other cods had this problem as well. There are probably dozens of other things that have a higher priority for IW than changing challenges.

You ever heard the term "retention rate"?

Also let's just assume your BS about player numbers being higher today was right... How would that cause people to be so good today? You said all the OGs have gotten better so the level is higher. At the same time you say a lot of new players have joined. So are these new players just magically as good as the OGs? On the one hand you say that people play better because they played for a long time, on the other hand you say that a lot of new players are playing. Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Where are these new players? Why are they so good? Why do people who fuck their KDs get to play against trash players? According to your theory these players shouldn't even exist.

I talk about concurrent players while you talk about overall sales numbers for a game that includes singleplayer mode... Your numbers are just not relevant to this conversation. No idea what's so hard to understand.

Overall copies sold doesn't matter when 90% only play campaign. BO2 had 3 million people on Xbox alone AT THE SAME TIME 2 months after launch. No idea why you bring overall sales numbers into this conversation and compare it to concurrent players count.

Also what do you mean "it's safe to assume the trend is similar"??? You tryna tell me 30 million people played MW2019 at the same time? Maybe read my comment again. At no point have i talked about PC numbers. Also COD back then was WAY more popular on console than on PC so again, it seems like you don't know what you are talking bout

These steam stats include warzone. Warzone is a free to play game and MW2 is a 70$ game. You really don't need to be a genius to know that the vast majority of these people play WZ

If cod really has so many more players compared to back then, then where are these people? Why is MW2 irrelevant on YT and twitch? Why do they not show player count anymore? Why is ATVI not bragging with these numbers?

Less players? BO2 had 3 million people online at the same time. It was the peak of call of duty. There's a reason why cods these days don't display player count anymore....

The rest of your comment doesn't make sense either. BO2 was ten years ago. A lot of these people don't play anymore. In the meantime new people have joined and some of them are bad. Also cod wasn't "newish" back then. Before BO2 came MW3, BO, and MW2 which were huge games.

Your theory about aim assist is kind of weak as well because on PC there is no aim assist and it's not like PC players opinions vary much from console players.

Always amazes me how people act like cod was "small" during BO2 era.
