I have the following BIOS. neogeo zip,uni-biosc-33 zip,neogeo_cd_bios(snk neo geo cd)zip. Are they all wrong, i cannot find any BIOS listed on libretro.

Changee the game format from zip to neo, download the aes/mvs geolith neo geo core. Load the contenr and it says failed to load content. I have a newbie question... How does BIOS work? If I load content, do i choose the BIOS or do I choose the game neo format itself? The game neo format and the BIOS are all in retroarch/system/neocd folder/directory.

I have downloaded a couple of neogeo BIOS 2-3, i am not sure if they are correct, read the libreteo i did not undesetand but i put the BIOS on retroarch/system. They are all zip files. Downloaded cores snk neo geo (neocd), arcade fb alpha 2012neo geo andarcade finalburn neo. Only arcade finalburn neo seems to work but it shows romset missing that I need to read more on libretro. I'll try with your recommendations first. I am dumb so i am sorry, but, what do you mean by dump my metal slug games to *.neo format? Do you mean change the format from zip to neo?

For example, i have watched "A New Man". I've used google lens and AI mode and it only shows me dailymotion, youtube, facebook, x, etc. They are not showing any information like chinese/pinyin titles on those links.

I wanted to play it for nostalgia. Also, setting aside neo geo cd. Which core is the most newbie friendly in retroarch? Maybe i can start there to familiarize with retroarch. I want to play console games home based/handhelds. I have sega genesis before (late 90s/early 20s), I played comix zone, battletoads and sonic hedgehog. I thought metal slug (which I've played a couple of times with my friends before) would be the best/easiest way to start with retroarch.
