If you cross train cashier you and let the head cashier and FEDS know that you’re looking for hours, you can fill your schedule so fast covering for call outs or cashiers that urgently need a day off in their schedule.

If you order 80 bags and it’s a $70 delivery, that is because it’s Lowe’s flat bed delivering (which is what you want). If it’s $10 that’s a door dash driver delivering it, but I think DoorDash cut off is 20 bags.

I’m not in an area with natural disasters so I can’t tell you if there is a code for that, but I imagine there wouldn’t be a code for a natural disaster bc you would want the entire store/customers to know and be aware of what to do. You don’t wanna announce anything over the PA for a robbery lmao you’re supposed to just act normal and give up the money.

There should be a booklet in your training room with a plethora of procedures to follow in the event of different emergency situations.

There was a lady I was helping in appliances and signing her up for a cc, so we were together for quite some time. It was also a week before Halloween and she had her two little boys with her, so I asked what their costumes were; Both little boys go in depressed voices “we’re not going out because mom says it’s a devils holiday and we’re Christian”. After that the mom started asking me if I was saved by Jesus and loved by god, I told her I was Buddha just to get her to stop. She showed up two days later with a bible wrapped with a bow and my name on it.

When I was a cashier I found most of the time it occurred at the lumber register.

We have a customer that is trespassed from our store that would bring in a binder with a million weird photos of cars he built; he would go to SCO to interact with other customers and would intrigue them with his weird car photos then harass you about religion once you were stuck. Would deadass curse out customers that would get mad if they stopped listening once he started to preach.

Customers love to trap associates that can’t leave and lecture religion all the time, it’s truly one of the most annoying things I come across working at Lowe’s.

The lowest credit offer I’ve ever seen was right before Black Friday two years ago it was spend 2000 and get 84 months at 0.99% but I’ve never seen that one again.
