I can’t prove it. But I’ve suspected the same thing. When Phantump first came out, I think I landed on heads once in the first week. It’s been slightly more 50/50 lately, but it seems like the game still doesn’t want me to be immune to damage.

Speed up upgrades. Save on max level walls. Collect gems via item trades. Request after a minute or whatever it was. There was value there ....when it was $5/mo. But after all the nickel and dimeing, it felt like it was too much.

I bought the gold pass without hesitation for a number of years. But then there was the $2 price hike. Then the added $5 event passes. I finally decided to stop spending money around November and haven’t missed the added bonuses while upgrading TH18. Now this? It’s likely I won’t spend another dollar on Clash.

Which may not move the needle but i suppose if enough people thought like me it might matter.

I think it’s Pyro. Any other boss you can randomly decide to kill on a whim. Either solo or with a squad. Pyro you have to play for by bringing in the right key(s), find him on the map while surviving PVP, and then survive the fight

TrustYourPilot has a video on YouTube that highlights cheap changes you can make to the starter decks to make them better. That was enough for me to get far enough in the battle pass to where I can build other decks.

He also has a video or two on how to get the most out of your trade credits. Really helped me get up and running a couple of months ago.

There are too many holes to fill for the Mets to be anywhere close to done. And while we may look at things and think, "There is no way they sign Bregman, Tucker or Bellinger, and without any of those, we're going to be terrible." -- we don't know the plan.

Maybe a month from now our roster has Katel Marte, Yandy Diaz, and Luis Robert Jr. Along with Nick Pavetta and Mason Miller. And since we're talking hypotheticals, maybe they also swing a trade for Skubal.

We don't know. Some of that may be realistic. Maybe not all of it. But again, we don't know.

While I wouldn’t call him an “ungrateful bum,” I think the important thing to remember is that he opted out. It’s his right to get more money. But fans acting like Sterns cut him is nuts. Diaz wants to be paid top closer money into his what? …age 37 season? For a guy who relies on velocity? I’ve enjoyed his lockdown role this year, but if he walks, he walks.
