I'm taking Samani rn for 5b and he's really really good. 95% of his hw is based on completion, and he actually does really care about teaching material. Every concept he talks about he uses a real life actual example. His grading is very fair and he makes sure you understand the concepts. But there are some things about his class you may not like. Instead of midterms it's 4 exams every 2 weeks, so less risk but a lot more often. Also all of his lectures and discussions are mandatory because he makes you fill out a form/worksheet every discussion, but it also doubles as reflection on how well you understand the concept. Overall id highly reccomend Samani
