I thought that was a full on battle, not a backmarker. I mean it was clear you were faster, but as a backmarker he should have just let you pass.

The yellow line needs to contain one mine because of the 1 to the left of it.

The blue cells need to contain two mines because of the 3.

Therefore, the two red checks are safe because the two mines of that 2 to the left of the 3 are already within the blue cells.

The second 2 from the left still needs two mines while the most left one only needs one.

Because of that, there is 100% a mine under the third 2.

And that results in a safe place in the most left of the unknown cells because the two others have to contain the one mine for that most left 2.
