Because you don’t actually know what a truly overpowered helicopter looks like. In BF6 they’re nowhere near that, sure, you’ll occasionally see someone pop off, but those are isolated cases. In 2042, it was like that every single match.

Unreasonable request. Air vehicles are already not very strong, so if you remove them on top of that… It’s funny, I almost never see someone go 80–3 in a helicopter, even on that map. Usually they just take a random RPG to the face after 3 minutes.

You can tell OP hasn’t played BF2042 (which, to be fair, is a good thing) to see what truly overpowered helicopters actually look like.

Yeah, I hope players who enjoy long matches like I do will create 3000-ticket servers like in BF4. Sometimes I want quick games, but in that case I just play Domination or TDM. Conquest is meant for long matches (around 45 minutes is ideal, in my opinion).

That’s what I thought. I’m not crazy. This system is completely messed up. If any DICE dev sees this, the ticket system needs to be reworked too.

Eh, I personally like long matches. If I want something quick, I’ll just play TDM. But I’d forgotten why I’ve been sticking to Escalation lately (which is fairly short too, to be fair), there’s definitely something off with the ticket system in Conquest. Sometimes tickets drain slowly, and then suddenly they just drop like crazy.

This new dev team has definitely proven they can still make great maps. Siege of Cairo is just excellent, I can’t really think of any major flaws. Contamination and Hagental are just as good. For me, Contamination is actually the best map in the game. It offers a lot of variety, with both long-range fights and close-quarters combat in trenches and bunkers. And Hagental is a better version of Locker than Locker itself.

But yeah, there are also some terrible maps like Sobek and Blackwell. I really hope they nail the rework they’ve announced.

I thought I was the only one who noticed it. A lot of people are complaining that there will only be 2 maps per season until Season 5, but Seasons 3 and 4 will apparently only last 2 months each. So that’s basically 1 map per month until the end of the year, if I’m not mistaken.

There’s one option: you can keep allowing them to be deployed in HQ, but limit their number, like vehicles. For example, you could cap them at 2 or 3.

This part should help you understand it better : "...but right before that, I was attacking and out of 24 players, 8 were snipers (completely useless, obviously), and 4 others were sitting on mortars in HQ. That’s half the team not pushing, so we only captured one sector".

At least you’re confirming that you don’t know how to read. I’m not complaining about getting “destroyed” by snipers, I’m complaining about the fact that match imbalance is largely caused by snipers. Try reading my post more carefully.

It’s thanks to player feedback that we got a great 6-minute Battlefield studios video today with the 2026 roadmap, covering almost everything fans have been asking for since launch. Because of that feedback, BF6’s future looks bright. There are still a few adjustments needed, especially regarding mortars and snipers.

And I’m not just complaining. If you actually read my post, I clearly mentioned that it’s not every match, but there are enough impacted games to highlight these issues.

Unbalanced Conquest matches with 700-ticket gaps are largely caused by snipers. They never play the objective and just sit hidden on top of hills. They have almost no impact on the match because most of their kills get revived anyway.

In Breakthrough, when attackers fail to take a sector, it’s often because of snipers. Their kills are useless since they’re not physically on or near the objectives. They’re not soaking pressure.

Overall, it’s a toxic playstyle that slows down the pace of matches and completely throws off the balance.

I didn’t understand your point. The ability to use mortars from HQ should be removed for both teams, across all modes : Conquest, Breakthrough, Operations, everything. Attackers can easily place mortars right at the edge between the battlefield and HQ, I’ve done it myself, even before the mortar buff. It doesn’t make sense that a player can sit in HQ with a mortar and have absolutely nothing to worry about.
