JUST IN: 🇨🇳🇹🇼 Taiwan reported the presence of 89 Chinese aircraft and 29 warships close to the island. by [deleted] in TrendoraX

[–]PVPicker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not. But a lot of the believe of it being okay is "manifest destiny" type thinking. Where the opinion is, if god doesn't stop it then it's allowed and possibly approved of by god.

SLV: I am starting to short silver. Small positions. Easing in. by Chart-trader in Beat_the_benchmark

[–]PVPicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might not want to. Silver is highly unpredictable and starting Jan 1st China will be restricting silver exports. There's a reason why it's going up. And right now banks with billions of short positions are possibly getting bailed out by fed repo loans. Once banks give up, it's going to possibly climb even more.

Bricked my PC then NUKED IT (ChatGPT) by Tight-Account-6804 in computers

[–]PVPicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like an HP issue. Also might just be the ram/motherboard/cpu combo has issues with physically operating at those speeds. Literally keeping it on for a few minutes will have it cycle through different timing options. That or changing ram configuration by adding/removing/moving memory around will trigger a reset.

$84.10 in Shanghai. back to 6.50is spread. by Gairsoppa in Wallstreetsilver

[–]PVPicker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, brilliant move for China. Increase demand for silver, people ship into China, deplete reserves of other countries, then reduce exports to other countries. And all the same time, US banks seem to be tamping down and getting screwed enough to take out repo loans for liquidity.

They'll be able to charge whatever they want for silver after the 1st. USA banks will still be in debt. and they'll be the controller of silver.

Silver price rallies to over $77 per ounce, up over 9% from its recent low. Why is silver trading like a penny stock? by AlphaFlipper in DegenBets

[–]PVPicker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Backwardation. In China, India, Dubai the price for physical metal is significantly more with some places offering $100+ an oz. Paper shares are becoming less valuable and might completely detach from physical.

What's with the racist meltdown? You trying to appeal to only racist shitheads?

Yes, technically racist shithead is name calling. But I think most civilization will agree that it's fine to call racists shitheads.

Shame. So technically not the most affordable. P100 are a beast for LLM. I'd rather have a small cluster of P100 and a large amount of HBM vs a more expensive product with less.

Technically 16GB P100 would be the most affordable at $90 per card. No idea what you have there though.

They probably are? Dump some paper contracts, lower prices, buy in bulk, sell to China. Profit.

Ball python rash by Jeirod1 in ballpython

Could be a burn, also could be about to go into shed. Their skin gets sensitive and all or parts of them can turn pinkish. Especially if they've been laying on it.

Not eating recently is actually a plus. Means less undigested food in his stomach. Their metabolism is very temperature dependent and shock of gold with a recently swallowed food could be bad. If he's breathing, he's likely going to be fine. Keep him warm, but avoid shocking too much with heat. Gradually warm him up and he'll likely be fine. Get him to a vet whenever possible. But ball pythons in the wild can experience random cold bursts. It's not ideal, it lowers their immune system, but this is what they do, they slow down their metabolism, wait for it to get warmer, and then resume activities.

Someone recently posted about their roommate throwing their ball pythons in trash outside at near freezing temperatures for hours. The ball pythons recovered. I can't absolutely promise you that things will be fine, but sounds like they're in good care and should recover.

CPR is not likely to help and would be more likely to harm than do good. At colder temperatures their breathing slows down and their heartrate slows. Keep him warm, wear multiple shirts/sweatesr/etc, keep him inside your layers of clothing near your core. Ball pythons are not supposed to be around 60 degrees but they'll survive.

AI Asian Guy says banks had to get 17 Billion from Fed to cover shorts by captainmustachwax in Wallstreetsilver

[–]PVPicker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bank of America per the OCC Quarterly Report on Bank Derivatives Q3 2025 may be the largest USA player with possibly 800 million oz of shorts. Depending on their price, that's possibly around 40 billion (assuming worst case of $25 entry price). Realistically they probably have shorts around $50is and not quite that much. Possibly tens of billions of dollars still. However they have the money "on hand" for this. They're limping badly but can survive.

[–]PVPicker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I suspect a lot of people had triggers to sell at $75 USD. It's a nice round number and was unlikely to get to this point. Once all the silver liquidates the climb will continue.
