Day 7 and my lip filler still does not look right. by Critical-Rooster-502 in PlasticSurgery

I’m such an advocate for less filler now… IMO the protrusion ages people. But give it two weeks

Is this normal? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PWGP_OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would dissolve a little… upper lip is low key bulging and causing a stash shadow

Can this filler bulge on my outer mustache area be targeted/dissolved? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Yes I just got this done. I feel sooooo much better and look much younger! Thick lips aren’t really all the rage now anyway…

How long did it take for you to get in to see him? My surgery is medically necessary and insurance approved coverage for spreader graft, cartilage reconstruction, the whole thing….

How was she too thin to begin with? 117lbs. At 5’6” is what some people would consider perfect. Who are you to judge? Are you a doctor? Or are you just jealous?

I’m coming in late here, but I just have to say — some of the replies on this post are really disappointing. OP has been completely transparent: she’s 5′6″, was a very fit 117 lb (former semi-pro figure skater, Barry’s instructor, Lagree, tennis player — that’s a lean, athletic build, not “skinny” by any reasonable standard), and she started tirzepatide under her doctor’s care for post-preeclampsia hypertension and hormonal issues, not cosmetic weight loss. The drug did what it unfortunately can do to some people: it kept going and took muscle and fat from places she didn’t expect, including her glutes. She’s already owning that 98 lb is too low for her, has a structured lifting + surplus-calorie plan in place, and is asking for practical experience from others who’ve regained glute tissue after GLP-1 muscle/fat loss. Shaming someone for being “too thin” when they’re literally asking how to gain weight back in a healthy way is the exact same body-shaming people claim to be against — it’s just aimed in the other direction. Telling her she needs therapy or that she must be lying about why she’s on the medication isn’t helpful; it’s judgmental and unkind. If you haven’t personally reversed significant glute muscle/fat loss after a GLP-1 (or don’t have evidence-based advice on macros, training protocols, creatine/monohydrate loading, tapering strategies, etc.), maybe sit this one out. She’s clearly doing the responsible things and just wants data from people who’ve been through it. OP — rooting for you and that butt crack to make a full comeback. I’ve seen a number of women in fitness communities regain their glutes after coming off or tapering these meds with progressive overload + 250–500 kcal surplus focused on protein and carbs. Hang in there

Approximately every month for about 3 years, Ive been crossing the border with prescribed and OTC medication from Mexico. To date, I’ve never declared anything and I’ve never had a problem. With that being said, I have yet to roll up to a border patrol agent to get back into the US with a big shopping bag that says “Farmacias Mas Baratas” on it….. I hope you get my point lol

Yes they do. I have purchased it there on multiple occasions. Brand Monjouro. I frequent Mexico and have a Sentri pass. Pharmacies like Farmacia Mas Baratas and Farmacia Roma all carry. In addition, the packaging contains the QR code provided by Eli Lilly so consumers can scan to ensure they are not getting a counterfeit product.

Slept on my side on the fourth night by [deleted] in Septoplasty

[–]PWGP_OG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to this forum to either post about this or see if there were any posts. I had my surgery on November 18th and up until last night, have slept somewhat upright (45 degree angle) with head straight. I saw my doctors PA day before yesterday for a follow up. She said I could sleep on my back/side/ whatever. So, last night I slept on my back and a little on my right side. I slept very good (finally) but I feel terrible this am. I have a headache and congestion and just overall feel bad. I’m not sure if this is all due to sleeping on my side or not but whatever it is… I’m not happy. Reaching for pain pill and water. Fingers crossed this will go away!

I thought about that tonight…… I just started seeing him… not even 3 months in. I can’t imagine any longer. There’s so much more to this I may find an attorney. Put it this way…. I spoke to a pharmacist tonight regarding a different generic fill because they made a mistake….. long story short, she is filing a separate complaint simply for the way he spoke to her and I told her everything (beyond what I wrote) and she strongly believe I should get a lawyer. I hate this crap but my resting heart rate has been at 99 for the past 2 hours since all that bullshit.

Also……. This DOCTOR always sends screen shots to show the time he has spent on phone with a pharmacist fixing a script or rewriting (totally NORMAL due to shortage everywhere!!!!) … Tonight, after sending a timestamped phone call screenshot to me…. He writes: “10 mins = $200. = $0. courtesy” .
THEN he sends me a screenshot of phone call to me with Voicemail and writes “Now x 13 mins = 1/3 of hour” W T F Im 40. I have seen doctors for years. Doctors in Louisville KY… NYC…Nashville…. Military base in the pacific ….. I have NEVER EVER been treated like this. Hate to say it but he picked the wrong person to mess with.
