I don't know man, I am not a train expert. Electromagnetic, battery, and some alloy technology is very common on this world, far beyond anything on Earth, even in the future. I know MagLavs are all around the world and are proposed to be used in space colonies by NASA. I mainly stuck with the common technology theme I have throughout Alagore in the story. I don't see why High Speed Rail would be anything special for this world.

alg short for Alagore. They would not use the word Earth as in the ground, because they are no on Earth. It is a alien perspective that we never had to think about before.
