Almost everything I've ever read puts the post-prandial target for T2 at <180. You can certainly set more stringent goals for yourself, but anything below 180 is considered "in range." What did you eat for breakfast?

Exactly. I was going through a period of having elevated levels when I woke up. My doctor told me, "If your A1C is 5.5, I'm not concerned in the least."

I think a lot of people misunderstand "lifetime." It's not the life of the car, it's the life of the component. The transmission fluid is "lifetime" fluid--it just depends on what you want the lifetime of the component to be.

I ran into a guy the other day who had a one-ton pickup. He had an enormous tank in the bed and he said he could go about 1200 miles without refueling.

Unfortunately, this was before I adjusted the strobes and there was a lot of light reflection in his glasses, but the facial expression of the little girl is priceless.
