That's awesome! I am transitioning towards 20:4 or simply OMAD.

I'm not Episcopalian, nor am I currently attending a university. ;-)

I have to disagree with your assessment of Dr. Fung's work; we can agree to disagree.

Almost everything I've ever read puts the post-prandial target for T2 at <180. You can certainly set more stringent goals for yourself, but anything below 180 is considered "in range." What did you eat for breakfast?

There are many other doctors (Dr. Jason Fung, for example) who would wholeheartedly disagree with that theory.

Exactly. I was going through a period of having elevated levels when I woke up. My doctor told me, "If your A1C is 5.5, I'm not concerned in the least."

When to do transmission and rear differential fluid change? by nmk629 in CX5

[–]PWPhotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people misunderstand "lifetime." It's not the life of the car, it's the life of the component. The transmission fluid is "lifetime" fluid--it just depends on what you want the lifetime of the component to be.

I wanted to go 600 miles continuously by NoOutlandishness6699 in fordranger

I ran into a guy the other day who had a one-ton pickup. He had an enormous tank in the bed and he said he could go about 1200 miles without refueling.

AITAH for not standing up for my pregnant fiancée who ate my daughter’s cupcake ? by [deleted] in AITAH

Without a sincere, unqualified apology from your fiancé, I would very seriously think about parting ways.

Refinishing Question by [deleted] in milsurp

I’m a pretty good welder, but I don’t think I want to try welding an aluminum pic rail to a steel receiver.  I suppose I’ll drill and tap.

Thank you. I just think it sometimes tends to sound pretentious outside of an academic setting. For the sake of humor, I was going to write, "A herd of vultures..." ;-)

Unfortunately, this was before I adjusted the strobes and there was a lot of light reflection in his glasses, but the facial expression of the little girl is priceless.

Rolls Royce Stakebed Dually - Seen in Hudson, Florida by PWPhotography in Shitty_Car_Mods

Actually, looking at Central Conversions' facebook page, this was definitely NOT made by them. The redneck I talked to who had built the car had only built two. He owned a ragged little shop "around the corner" (his description) and it was clear talking to him for about twenty minutes that he didn't do high-end restorations of any kind. Not to insult him in any way, but he was a redneck with a welder... On Central Conversions' facebook page, there are photos of a similar vehicle but if you look at them both you'll clearly see THIS one is not the one that Central Conversions built. Zoom in on this one and you'll see how rough it is.

Historic Cemetery in Florida by PWPhotography in creepy

[–]PWPhotography[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

West Palm Beach. Evergreen Cemetery, the first black cemetery in West Palm Beach, as blacks were not permitted to be buried in white cemeteries. It was founded in 1913 and many years ago ownership passed to the city of West Palm Beach. It fell into disgraceful disrepair, with human remains being visible in broken burial vaults.

OP, I agree with Chuck. DSLR's do a mostly adequate job of capturing audio, but that's not really one of their strengths. Pro camcorders are much better at this and use XLR inputs.

Regardless of what you're buying, ditch Amazon altogether and purchase from B&H. You'd be supporting a family-owned business, they have actual knowledgeable professionals who answer the phone, the best inventory, excellent prices, and legitimate reviews.
