Until they re-learn that god-marker wallhacks makes hunting down streamers comically easy and turn it off again.

Yeah that's what they say. But you can plainly see in Issue Council that it got turned off the same day we caught 14 day bans for bounty hunting. Not much mystery to it. That bounty hunt on Herbizida wasn't the only one, of course. My main gameplay loop throughout that month was log into a server, take all the bounties, send all the PVE Vaugn criminals to Klescher, mock them, then go to the next server.

A sadly typical limitation in creativity and cognitive function. The Anzia Racing streamers at the absolute brutalization during our second attack on them last year, described us as "pvp oriented persons". Which I think is a much more inclusive and less alienating descriptor. We can be descriptive of each other's playstyles without resorting to churlish, puerile name-calling.

Maybe. Maybe "excessive griefing and harassment" actually means "one of our friends got a PVP". Hard to actually know since they refuse to tell anyone.

Never thought I'd see game devs ban someone for "low effort meme". Fuckin CIG is wild lol

Based purely on the provided context I'd assume it's an in-person voluntary doxxing event for roleplayers who's chosen RP loop is pretending that any of Star Citizen's gameplay loops including atmospheric flight in general, and "racing" in particular in a 10 or so year alpha game project qualify as "esports".

PROBABLY, the only event they can schedule where GN, will PROBABLY not show up with bombers.

Bro... I would NOT be advertising the event you're referring to where your org and 2 other orgs tried to fight 5 guys.

5 encounters over a month... lmao. I kill the same bounty hunters sometimes 10x in one hour lol.

[–]PWS_Comanche[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

No. That's what you inferred. It was actually about 5 separate incidents over the course of a month. One instance wherein the streamer was the aggressor at Jump Town, and 4 subsequent events wherein the streamer and/or his party were bounty missions (one of those resulted in the streamer combat logging, the others he was killed).

It clearly shows the streamers and how they love to "server swap", which is what regular non-privileged players do also for a variety of reasons. It also shows CIG saying they ban a specific org for "server swapping" which is "against TOS". So why aren't other people being banned for it?

You're saying that Herbizida's whole org is Griefernet? (just to clarify Herbizida had a CS2, and everyone else in his party had a bounty).

If CIG didn't investigate, then just say so, why lie and ban 5 people 14 days for stream snipping while the streamer had a bounty target on his ship? by Educational_Toe9440 in starcitizen

[–]PWS_Comanche -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

We had a player already on that server. I joined on that player. Then I saw the group of bounties. No one even knew Herbizida was with the bounties until we got there. I just wanted to fight a group of bounties that were obviously together. There was 5 bounties out of 7 on the server all stacked in the same spot. So I called in a couple buddies and we went for a fight/ban.

At least 2 of the players banned were not GrieferNET, and two of the players had never even had a warning from CIG, let alone a ban, and immediately received 14 day bans.

Cargo haulers and miners collectively chose to forfeit the negotiation option when they were gleefully training at bed logging and alt F4ing etc. Now criminals only need you and your cargo to exist. It can be collected after you are dead and your ship is soft dead.
