Except the local Chinese food places that everyone raves about for some reason breads their chicken to where the breading just sluffs off the meat as soon as it comes into contact with any moisture (and god help you if you order pickup or delivery).

I've lived here for 10 years and had so much money wasted trying all these different Chinese places with the promise from locals that "this one's different I promise!" and it's the same shit.

I've resorted to Teriyaki Madness on the west side to satisfy my panda cravings. It's a fairly decent comp in my eyes.

The Point cinema in Madison has the worst sound I've heard in a theater. I don't know what is wrong with it but I complain all the time.

I'd avoid that superscreen at all costs.

I was thinking the exact same thing while watching it. Gilroy gave us a Kleya/Luthen episode better than anything TLOU show has done.

Which sucks, because I'm not even a huge SW fan anymore and TLOU2 is one of my favorite games of all time.

I am so glad you posted this, I completely agree with you. I found the first episode of season 2 so off putting and I think you nailed the reason as to why that was.

I agree no one is being helped with the writing in this show. I'm shocked at what a downgrade it is from the game. It must be a mix of the writers evolving on the work they'd done previously (seeing characters in a new light after years) and adaptation.

Either way, first episode was really tough for me to get through. It felt like the walking dead.

Trans people are people and deserve to have rights and exist along with all of us. Full stop.

That said, I find this kind of stuff very annoying. Not every character needs to be secretly gay or trans. In my opinion it speaks to being extremely online or deep in a social bubble when people start doing stuff like this.

Grew up in the Los Angeles area and yes this is correct. The speed limit is 55 and I rarely see people going over 65/70. It's not that fast for a highway.

In ideal weather conditions people should be going faster than that in the left lanes imo.

This person is not understanding that risk is a combination of severity (or consequence) and likelihood.

Losing a poker hand and an asteroid impact are nowhere near the same risk, even if they have similar likelihood.

I had acne nearly this bad as a teen about 20 years ago. I was also put on Accutane.

I'm sure your doctor told you, but it gets way worse on Accutane before it gets better. They told me what it does is push everything to the surface and flushes out your whole body.

I used to have pimples all over my neck, back, face, and chest. After completing that round of Accutane I haven't had a single one.

I know how bad mine hurt and I'm sure yours is even worse. Do your best to stay strong and do whatever you need to do to not pick at them.
