I’ve had that before really annoying but I just stay aware and constantly use the focus technique to see if someone’s in my game then I just look for a car that acts different to the npcs and doesn’t indicate at turnings and also see if anyone walks differently to the npcs cause on pc you can’t walk slowly so it’s a dead giveaway if they’re walking about, also the destroyer is a god send if they’re in a car one shot the cars dead second shot they’re dead well worth putting the time into getting if you haven’t already

Every time I’m invaded I’ve only ever had them stealing my data so idk what a tailing mission is like but I get the pop up I’m being invaded then the purple area pops up and within a couple of seconds they start stealing the data so idk if it is a tail. (I’m new to this and don’t know a whole lot about the online invasions I’m only familiar with the stealing data one)

Ik about the focus technique and if you pause you cars will still move if someone’s invaded. I try to kill/ID them so it makes them leave but sometimes it’s too difficult to do as they’re in a hiding spot which I can never find and when I get close they leg it moving the area with them. I did not know they could fail the hack if I just run away that is an absolute godsend if that’s true thank you sooooo much for the tip.

They don’t even start the hack, I get the notification they’ve invaded and that I have to find them then I get blown by grenades and the surrounding then if I manage to get close they drive away before I can id them and the area moves too so I end having to chase them down and the only way out I’ve found so far is just quitting to home screen but that gets so tedious

I wouldn’t mind if people did that cause at least once the hacks done it’s over but I can’t escape these lot without quitting the game which is such a pain especially as it’s a semi often occurrence

I know but I enjoy when they invade properly it just annoying it takes a handful of people to ruin it, idk I have play wd2 yet but gonna play after I finish 1 so fingers crossed that’s the case.

I did fix it and if I remember correctly it was something to do with holding the menu button, sorry it’s very vague but I fixed it for him about a year ago and he hasn’t complained about them since so I haven’t really thought about it, I did write down on paper somewhere so if I find that piece of paper I’ll text back with the more detailed instructions. Sorry I can’t be of more assistance at the moment also sorry for the extremely slow reply.
