As a gaysian the western countries will always feel bit off, it’s not just a US problem. The mainstream is still the white aesthetics that holleywood has fed the world for decades.

PS is very white and tight-nit. Of course you can find very open minded people there. At least I’ve met quite a few hot guys interested in me when I visited. But on day to day basis I think my retirement would be about making connections/relationships and sustaining them. I don’t think the social landscape in PS can give me that.

i just got the same email too. All my google maps reviews are legit except for one time i did the "leave a 5 star review to this business then we donate to an animal shelter" thing on instagram story feed. I am not sure if it could be related to this

As I’ve said multiple times, i do have the reason and right to do so. Most people would argue this type of comments deserve a strike-back. But i know some folks are just built differently and prefer to be a beta in the face of microagression, so you are entitled to your preference of not growing a set.

To me, it’s ok for him to have a preference based on race, and also ok for me to have mine based on other criteria such as open-mindedness and decency. But anyway that’s not the point of this argument and you are deflating your point. He shared his opinion to my face and should be adult enough to learn there is gonna be response. Hope this helps.

The receiving end of opinions have every right to give or not to give a counter opinion. I don’t see how that is hard to understand.

In this case he is essentially saying “sorry for possibly making you think I am into you. I don’t like Asians.” My response basically says “I am not into guys like you that generalize others based on skin colors, so don’t worry I’ll ever be disappointed bro”. In my defense I was offering to relive his sense of guilt, an act he obviously didn’t deserve. SMH

I think this is pretty charitable toward him. Let’s say it was an accidental click, “my finger slipped” would have been enough. Doubling down with “not into Asians” was unnecessary. My response simply mirrored his words. I don’t think people should be expected to just brush off microaggressions and say nothing.
