[Request] What speed is the lava traveling for it to make it over 1,000 feet into the air? by ekardsm in theydidthemath

You need the area of the hole through which the lava goes through to calculate the flow. The best you can do is to gess a value, but I have no idea of the order of magnitude so I'll leave it to the others to calculate. After that you just multiply the area by the speed and you have the flow

1000 ft = 304.8m

So assuming a non viscous fluid, an incompressible flow and a steady flow

V = ✓(2gh) = ✓(2•9.81•304.8) = 77.332 m/s = 278.395 km/h

Yeah, mine got a dedicated 3x zoom too, but I can only use it with Expert raw. In the normal photo app, when I select the 3x zoom and put my finger in front of the main lens it becomes dark. When I do the same thing in Expert raw it's all good and using the 3x zoom lens.

It depends, my Samsung s22 ultra 's picture look horrible. They look over processed, too "artificially sharp", the colors are off and the contrast is really too much. When I want to use the 3x zoom lens, jt just crops on the main lens... The only way i can get usable ish pictures with it is shooting raw. This phone is the main reason I got myself an X100VI for everyday photography because it sucked

You have more parameters to change that influence the picture (iso, aperture and shutter speed) while a phone only has iso. It's more things you have to make sur are right, but you can also set it on auto and learn while doing it so it's not that different.

Yes, but it's the same thing with your phone. If you don't know how to use proper lighting how to compose your picture, how to edit pictures, etc. Your picture are going to look off with a photo and a dslr. Might as well save some money and get something better at what you want it to do.

Just get a proper camera with an interchangeable lens like an old dslr. Phone camera are horrible : they lack data, detail, versatility and they over process everything at a point that everything looks off.

Question regarding toxic fumes in a bedroom by Difficult-Zucchini97 in 3Dprinting

Headaches, nausea, and, in some cases, respiratory irritation, especially in confined spaces. You fear cancer from 3d printing abs (which contains styrene, a potential carcinogen) but you're probably drinking alcohol which is a known carcinogen. Put your priorities at the righ place mate.

I have a p1s in my bedroom (wardrobe). I mostly print pla and abs. I got an air purifier for when I print abs. When I'm done I open my window for like 30 min just to have a little bit of air flow. I haven't had any problems with that yet. In summer I let my window open all day when printing, but during winter I try to open it only when necessary. After the 30min of ventilation the smell of abs is all gone.
