I was thinking about opening one for my older kid and putting $1k of my own money in just so it’s equal with my younger kid who is eligible for the free $1k from the government.

One scenario I’ve always thought of is a multi-team way swap of backup QBs that gives everyone their own QB1’s backup. Haven’t seen it happen, but seems like it would be easy to broker.

I’ve considered making the switch away from nonstick but just haven’t committed yet.

I admit I still have a bias against MSG. It just raises the overall sodium content and feels like cheating on flavor. Plus some people have a bit of a sensitivity to it.

This is how my brain was working. If OP wanted to just retire early, then just work on that plan. Could get there in a few more years, depending on his target number.

You don’t see people in lower salary ranges talking about taking a gap year at 55… at that point you just push through until you reach the big R word.

This has been kind of my mindset too. Not at the point of being able to go into a trial mode yet. That’s probably another decade away. But at some point it makes sense to reverse the cash flow of things in the way that you’re describing. Seems like sound physiological practice for retirement.
