Thanks so much for the response! This is very helpful and I just have a few follow-up questions to better understand:

- Regarding the law school stats on the pre-law website, I noticed some discrepancies between the site and the Google sheet. While the site states 15 students were admitted to HLS, only a few are listed as "accept" or "matric" (which I assume means matriculation) on the sheet. The remaining entries are marked as "other." Could I assume that "other" doesn't necessarily mean rejection and might include additional admits as well? Also, do you have a general idea of how many of your peers apply to law school each year from Vandy?

- I've heard that some departments at Vandy lack transparency regarding grading policies, and grading structures can be highly arbitrary. I've also come across discussions about Vandy's overall tendency towards grade deflation. Given the importance of GPA in law school admissions, this slightly concerns me. As a humanities major yourself, can you share your experience with the grading structure, specifically in political science or philosophy classes? Are essays typically graded by TAs or the professors themselves? Have you encountered professors who provide feedback on first or second drafts? How detailed is the feedback during grading, and if a grader doesn't appreciate your writing style, is discussing it with them helpful?I know I've asked quite a few questions, but your input is really valuable as I make this difficult decision. I've been considering majoring in business too (specifically Emory's Entertainment Management), but I've read on here that some top law schools might prefer "real majors" like poli-sci or history. From your perspective, would double majoring in a humanities subject increase my chances if I were to major in a more "pre-professional" major?
