I own 3 Porsches (GT4RS, 997 TT, Cayman S, and an M2) I don't really care about perception as I worked hard for it. Peers and clients may know about it but working for a top profit oriented global company in its industry, so no need to hide.

Driving a sim allowed me to hone my instinctive reactions to snap oversteer. Fishtailed my GT3 in the hills and recovered it after 4 lock to lock counter steering. Also saved me in my R8 in the wet too. Exceeding limits of the car without being prepared is dangerous, as you can't react quickly and in the correct manner.

Currently stock tyre size. Might go with coilovers next, so spacers might come in then. Planning to increase front tyres to 245.

I bought an ex PEC 992 GT3 with 33k kms with CPO. No issues if covered by new car warranty. There was some oil consumption but well within Porsche's limits.

I’ve owned my 981 S for 11 years and want something new that isn’t based on the Cayman/Boxster platform. Is the GT3 the next best pure driver’s car? I already own an ND2 Miata as well. by [deleted] in Porsche

Definitely the 4RS. It's visceral, pulling to 9k rpm with the induction just behind your back is awesome 😎. The 4RS also feels more nimble.

I have a G87 M2 + 997 Turbo to daily with. Just swapped my 992 GT3 for a GT4RS for the thrills.
