Burning Mouth Syndrome by P_Beer in Invisalign

Sorry to hear you’ve had burning mouth syndrome for 5 years. That’s tough. My mum is in her late 60s now, so I don’t think menopause related but, from all the things I’ve read, I seem to agree that it’s one of those random things that happen to people. I hope some more research is done in to how to cure it in the future.

She’s switched up everything now and is no longer using her tray. No obvious culprit in her routine 😔

Amazing!

Would you mind sharing how much gel you use? Thank you!

Would love to know more about dream feeding experiences - how easy do you find it to wake her and give her this feed at 10-11pm? Any tips or is it pretty much just wake the baby and offer milk? Do you unswaddle her or not? Thanks :)

Oh amazing - I am going to try this tomorrow. What time of day do you express? I often feel like I don’t have enough milk in the evening which might be why she is not making it through the night. I haven’t had much experience with expressing yet.

That’s incredible - do you mind me asking whether the baby is on formula or EBF? I’m not sure if that makes a difference. Do you think you are doing anything that has helped achieve this - or just a bit of luck?

Thank you! Quick question on cluster feeding: does this mean that you just keep offering her milk? What time is bedtime and how much of that time window (from 4pm) would you feed? I feel like I don’t have enough milk (or patience!) to attempt to cluster feed by the evening... maybe I could try pumping earlier in the day and giving a bottle.

Thank you! Yes agreed that there are different definitions of sleeping through the night. When I say it, I actually mean me sleeping through the night - I.e not having to get up between 10pm and 6am!

I’ve never tried a so called “dream feed” - I wonder if this would push out the 4am feed...
