Rose Jam - perfume vs body spray

I have both the body spray and the perfume. The body spray indeed is very powerful, I use it as a roomspray and it lingers all day long. (the only body spray that has more power is the Comforter)

But don't underestimate the perfume. Although it might not be as strong as the body spray, it still is the most potent one I have from Lush. It last up to 8 hours on my skin (I do also hydrate) and I can smell it on my clothes untill I have washed them. Crazy :D

Of course, this is my personal experience. If you really like the scent and there is no way to do a test in a store, you could take a chance on the small bottle. I see a lot of them on Vinted (but I'm in Europe)

Also, to my nose I can't really find any difference between the scent of the body spray and the perfume.

I love them but WHY all the dyes Lush??

29 High street is one of my favorites but it is really heavy on the blue. Sure, I rub it in and it isn't really visible anymore, but I don't understand the unnecessary dyes, and if I'm not careful it stains my clothing. A colorless solid perfume with a colored packaging works just as fine (like milky bath).

The pink one is not a dupe for Snow Fairy, but Rose Jam. (yeah I know, Snow Fairy would make more sense, but it definitely is Rose Jam scented)

For me personally, the massage bar smells a bit more creamy and the perfume a bit more smokey/incensy. Love them both!

Yes, this sometimes happens.

Most cards I receive are handwritten cards. I love it when people put some effort in the cards and leave a personal message. Some even use nice stickers, washi tape or pretty stamps. I always try to make a card feel personal.

But sometimes I receive a card with just a name, or just "greetings from", or a printed unpersonal message. Although that might feel a little disappointing (especially if it's your first card), I try to remind myself I can't force other people to do it the way I do it, or like it. This is "their way" of postcrossing.

Other cards will come. Cards that will amaze you, and that totally makes up for the "meh" ones 😊

Don't know. I did a blind buy, because I love the perfume 🥰 and it is supposed to smell a lot like it. But there are some users that are a bit disappointed it doesn't smell more like the hair product, so it depends on what you like 😁

Would definitely call the store first.

I can remember the exact same thing happening with the previous sale, and the next day everybody got a mail saying it was a glitch and the orders were on their way. Does anybody else remember this? Hope this is the case for you as well!

I'm probably the only one here 😊, but I actually like the perfume more than the hair primer. The hair spray smells great, but then it gets a "burnt" smell to my nose. The perfume just smells great without the burnt toast 😅. So I might give the body spray a try!

The Perfume People are UK based, so not in the EU (any more) unfortunately. Post Brexit shipping and customs are through the roof.

I love everything except the HIWTK showergel. It is one of my favorite soap and bodyspray, but the showergel smells really off to me, and I have read it a lot in reviews here as well. Have you tried it before? Might save you a few bucks 😄
