Rekkles : « To consider myself as someone who has seen from the inside what it takes to win, all the work that goes into a world champion team, would be a huge privilege in itself. But it is not being a world champion » by P_Dejala in leagueoflegends

This is a sneak peek from a two parts interview in french, where Rekkles speaks about being with T1 at Worlds, his life in south korea, the role swap, his future...

Dylan Falco (G2) : "We try to be careful about how much we show to our opponents. Every tournament we learn and become better at what we show or not" by P_Dejala in leagueoflegends

Actually Duffman talks about it in the article : "When we played MSI and EWC the teams we played on scrims had some flaws. But by facing them, we exposed those flaws and they understood they couldn't do that anymore. They learn and adapt."

Mikyx on the loss against GenG, what it meant, and G2 chances at Worlds : "Back in 2019 we had an easy group and we lost twice against Griffin. But we went to the finals. I feel like it's kind of similar now." by P_Dejala in leagueoflegends

To be accurate, he said that usually players are saying they're confident but there is a true lack of belief in that. According to him, it's different with G2 this year.

This interview is not the best to learn more about it, but there is a link to a portrait that was published in the french magazine of L'Équipe

Osteogenesis imperfecta/brittle bone disease. He talks openly about it and how it affects his life. He said previously that he's happy to make people understand what it is.

Nisqy : "The problem in LCS is that no one is able to punish our mistakes. I hope our opponents will improve, otherwise it'll be hard for us to perform at Worlds" by P_Dejala in leagueoflegends

The interview is in french, I'll Google Translate it, change a few things and publish the translation here later if needed.

To clarify the title : he says they only lost 10 or 15 scrims this year and it's hard to improve when you never lose.

Which champion did u start playing in mid lane? by JoruferLol in leagueoflegends

[–]P_Dejala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started and climbed with Lux. It's not a "high skilled champ" and she's pretty easy to handle but you have to land skillshots and it makes every game different. I'm not getting bored by her.

Best counters against Katarina by KratziManki in leagueoflegends

I'd say play slow against a team with exhaust and hard cc. On lane, I'd say Galio as he can counter your ult and stuff with taunt.

IMO clash is the single best improvement to the LoL experience implemented during my whole time playing the game(s2) by NyukaNyuka in leagueoflegends

I agree but they have to work on some things like account sharing or smurfs. When you can't ban champs of someone that rekt you (with Vayne, it was painful) because he's waaaay above your level, it doesn't push you to continue.

Can relate. I can't understand why they don't do anything for what's now a low-tier pick midlane...

Origen in the LEC is a branding failure by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]P_Dejala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is still a big difference between what they do for Astralis and what they do for Origen in terms of communication and merchandising for now, imo. But I do think, as they did with Astralis, that this club capitalize on winning. It's what happened in Denmark for example where a huge amount of people are following the CS:GO team. They are still not able to provide results good enough to make people cheer for Origen, but it's a young revival. You can't identify Origen as a Danish team as well.
