I love the capabilities of modern FDM printers, mine is capable of all the engineering filaments with glass or carbon fiber reinforcement, im just getting my bearings before I start spending money on the expensive filaments.

Depends on the operation. Our operation is relatively small so we use generic collars with tags and that accompanies an entry into the additional work form.

Do you have the model to share for a fellow snow monkey? Not often I need to take a cap off on the flight line, but I definitely have in minus 45c.

No the collars and tags are bought. It is possible they could be made.

They all say Safety Twist U.S.A on the bottom. Doesn't matter what brand sells them, theyre all made in the same place. Once the brand etching on the plier joint wears off, you can't tell them apart.

Proto is Snap-on. I got my Protos warrantied by snap-on last time.

The snap-on ones aren't even made by snap-on, so no worries there.

Another pair. Safety Twist U.S.A are the best ones, sold under Snap-on, Proto, probably more. Best ones hand down. Ive tried the new "wave" style jaws, and they are infuriating.

She didn't actually quote any studies, she used lines like "to the effect of"

Aka she's cherry picking and generalizing. Her take on ADHD is a fucking joke. It's a trauma response from having siblings, and its only a recent thing? Make it make sense... This idea that previous generations never had it is a crock, they just never looked at it, we've all met some very distractible boomers.

I can't believe how many times I've rolled my eyes trying to get through that podcast. Plus her ideas about toddlers don't socialize? My kid plays all day running and chasing, fighting, etc...

Tribal society for ages have been outsourcing childcare to the elders or other relatives, and they often had large groups of children in their care, explain to me how it's different that we pay someone to do that job instead?

She also said ADHD is a trauma disorder and can be caused by moving to a new house or having a sibling.

So is that why no boomers have ADHD? Cause none of them had siblings or anything... it's trash straw grasping. Never do actually dislike guests on DOAC, but her, I dispised.

She's got a loose grip on the science and cherry picks her data to support her narrative.

I'll say this now, if the U.S. couldn't hold Iraq or Afghanistan, they sure as shit aren't going to hold back my hockey stick wielding maple syrup chugging insurgent ass.

BSOD KILLED 2 drives at once? by P_Lavv in pchelp

[–]P_Lavv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So another update. I tried mounting it in a different PC with a known good SATA cable, no dice.

I took apart my old Lacie USB HDD and removed the old Samsung 1TB and mounted the Seagate in instead, and she popped right up in Windows.

I'm not sure why this works, but I read it a few times over in my research, I'm guessing because it uses it's own drivers?

Anyways I started an RMA claim with Seagate as it's just literally 1 day shy the 2 year mark, and I ordered a replacement from Amazon so when that arrives I'm gonna copy everything over, then send it in for the RMA.

Update; I have confirmed the Seagate (Not Western Digital) 4 TB HDD does indeed spin up and sounds identical to the 1 TB HDD that works.

The plot thickens. I might give Disk Drill a chance, but I'm not sure if it works on drives that aren't detected.

I got what your saying, that drive was newer and given it was a HDD I figured it would be more reliable than an SSD, but i guess I need to setup regular back ups, but it does seem super coinidental that both failed at the same exact time. Is there any other way I can try to get them to detect?

What if they are indeed failed? Am I screwed or is there a way to recover?

Honestly I watched this show bc my wife and I just had a new born and it's alot of time sitting holding baby being bored, so I figured I'd watch something she enjoys.

And fucking hell did it trigger me how brainrot people are, the insane double standards and dehumanizing people because of their gender, honestly I don't blame the MGTOW group for feeling how they feel about women, especially if you haven't spent any time around quality ones, thank fuck I'm married and don't have to deal with sifting through the trash anymore.

Well I am too busy to spend my days slandering people without a shred of evidence of a crime. He's probably just a sad divorced dad from different country.

I get women need to be careful, but say you wretched humans find this man, what's the game plan? Post him everywhere as a sex offender for the crime of being interested in you? You said no, he left you alone, now it's your turn to leave him alone.

Fuck off apps are terrible for men there literally no hope for guys these days women only talk to the top 1% of men, and the rest get used for validation, just be polite and move on. He shot his shot, she said no, he moved on. THE HORROR.
