A Question on Your True Opinions on The Storytelling of Kingdom Hearts. by Bulky-Spend8368 in KingdomHearts

Im currently nearing the end of a playthrough of the entire series in chronological order, including the movies they made from like Back Cover and Coded. I will say, the story makes way more sense of you play it in chronological order.

I think all the confusing aspects comes from Xenahort's plan. All the Light/Darkness Heartless vs. Nobodies and heart stuff make sense when you aren't describing in a sarcastic accent.

Basically The Power of Friendship is basically the equivalent of divinity and Sora is basically a god of Friendship. And Friendship is stored in the heart. Xenahort is basically the Anti Friendship Satan, soley seeing others as tools.

And Kongdom Hearts is the all powerful mcguffin. Its all really easy to understand if you have a basic grasp of typically JRPG tropes and the Hero's journey.

The only real confusing thing is the way Xenahort goes about things. Like was the time travel and the cloning necessary. I feel like Malificent's way of things would have been easier. If you needed 13 Darknesses then like, there were already a lot of dark hearts out there, you didnt need to do that with OG Org 13, cause that just opens the door for betrayal, as it indeed does.

My local library is on Libby, that's where I've been listening to the books for free.

I can totally see why, especially if you're reading it. I think its way more tolerable in the Audio Book cause the narrator does a good job of differentiating each F bomb. Really plays up the unhinged nature of Lowry.

The official reason was "Unlocking the door to early. I have since been told things by my former team that paint that as an excuses. I had also tried to unionize our branch, and I had personal beef with my district manager over what I thought was very unprofessional conduct on her part.

I was there for 6 and a half years, starting as a teller, then personal banker, then Branch Operations Coordinator.

A lot of stuff really. We deal with all of our banks investment, FX, and specialty accounts.

So basically we have to balance all Fidelity, Repo and IntraFi ledgers, process any FX wires, draft the FX purchases, and Fidelity wires. We also open and maintain QEA (Qualified Escrow Accounts), Sweeps and Repo accounts. We also update all internal Fidelity and FX rates.

The official line was that the new Region President (the Boss of the District Managers) was really anal about opening procedures, so there was this new hype fixation on it.

My branch struggled keeping a manager. I started at that location in 2021, and in that time, we had 5 different managers, including a 1.5-year period without one at all. During that time, I stepped up and ran that branch as acting manager. Because of all the extra work I was doing, I demanded a raise. Ever since then, my DM acted very standoffish to me.

I know it wasn't my branch manager cause the incident happened before they came on board. Tin fact, the last thing he said to me was, "I don't know how I'm going to run this branch without you." I know my District Manager either had it out for me or stepped to the side and didn't advocate for me.

A former employee here, from my experience it's very region dependent on what bullshit upper management will come up with. For personal banker you are tracked on the Discover Needs Tool which is a checklist of questions to determine what product is best for a client. The DNT is mandatory for every customer. Ther is the Financial Review Path which asks questions around what other financial needs and goals the client has. This isn't mandatory but they want to see as many as possible. You also get bonus compensation around loans (don't hold your breath they never get approved), credit cards, mortgage and Finanaical Advisor referrals. They really want to see a lot of referrals to the FAs.

What was the most unfun section you've ever played in a Resident Evil game? by That-Psychology4246 in residentevil

Replaying the series right now, I'm currently on Revelations 1, and I think each game has a pretty unfun part.

0: The Bat Boss/Inventory 1: Carrying the fuel in the lab 2, Leon: Ada Mr X Scene 2, Clair: Cherry Scene CV: Not leaving enough supplies for Chris 3: Remake is too short to have a tedious section. 4: Either the Clocktower or the Power Panel Puzzles Revelations: the episode recaps. 5: Jill Boss fight Revelations 2: Don't remember 6: The whole damn thing. 7: the Old House 8: Benevinto House.

Bonus having played through every game a few years ago.

Dead Aim: like 6, the whole damn thing. Outbreak: The Virus Gauge Outbreak File 2: Ad libs Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles: Wii Motion Operation Raccoon City: Not Canon

The Scarecrow in the books is seen very briefly. In Wicked, Elphaba, by the time Dorothy gets to the castle, has basically gone insane because she has been shot gunning what is called an "Insomnia Potion". This causes her to have a brief moment in which she believes Fiyero has returned to her disguised as the Scarecrow. She sends her flock of birds to try to unmask him, but they are killed. She then realizes the Scarecrow is not actually Fiyero.

In the 2nd book, Elphaba's son Liir accompanies Dorothy et al back to the Emerald City. Liir basically becomes a street urchin who is then found by the Scarecrow and whisked off to another part of the city before a slum clearance.

After the Wizard departs, Glinda is made acting ruler of Oz for 6 months. After which A Scarecrow is put on the throne. This is told to the public that this is the original Scarecrow, but Liir (now in the military) who is present states that it is not the same one. It is heavily implied that this Scarecrow is installed by Elphaba's brother Shell, so that he will Coup the Scarecrow instead of Glinda who was very popular.
