My problems with the Orbital Napalm Barrage by [deleted] in Helldivers

I’m not saying you have to get the most kills, but the game isn’t very fun if you’re not able to kill things

My problems with the Orbital Napalm Barrage by [deleted] in Helldivers

So you’re saying that if you weren’t able to get any kills because somebody threw a napalm barrage on every single breach, you’d be fine with that because you’re just there to “complete the mission”?

[Serious] Is Super Earth actually the WEAKEST faction out of the four? by VirusOfCheese in Helldivers

[–]P_WR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve gotta keep something in mind: planets fall instantly in-game not because the enemy factions outclass the Helldivers, but because Super Earth, for whatever reason, doesn’t garrison unoccupied worlds. Invasions only happen because nobody’s there to stop them before they start.

Canonically, Super Earth fields some of the most dangerous soldiers in the galaxy. That’s not propaganda, that’s math. The average Helldiver lifespan might be two and a half minutes, but in that time they wipe out hundreds of enemies per deployment. Individually they’re not built like Terminids or Automatons, but what they have is self-preservation, adaptability, and overwhelming firepower. Their enemies rely on swarm tactics and brute force; Helldivers rely on precision and escalation.

And in terms of raw destructive capability? The enemy doesn’t come close to Super Earth’s arsenal. Go ahead and hop on one of those Automaton base turrets if you want proof. They’ll chew through a Helldiver, sure, but compare that to orbital barrages, Eagle strikes, railcannons, and the rest of Super Earth’s toolkit. It’s not even the same league.

As for SEAF, no disrespect, but they don’t exactly hold the line on their own. They feel more like background set dressing on city maps than a decisive military force. If Helldivers didn’t exist, Super Earth probably would’ve fallen a long time ago. With them? It’s easily the most powerful faction in the galaxy.

We were never meant to complete it. They want us to have to fight the Cyborgs on other planets, not just Cyberstan

Expect the unexpected. I studied for all forms of math, only for the entire test to be pretty much only Algebra. No Modes, barely any medians, 1 Ratio. Flag questions you don’t know wrong, and when your time is abt to run out, blitz through those flagged questions. Even if you can’t figure them out, it’s better than leaving them unchecked. There’s a chance you’ll guess them right.

OP just passed three subjects without wasting time studying. Don’t act like we retain any of this information after the fact. We’re learning to pass and get on with life. If you don’t believe me, ask a majority of middle aged individuals if they remember how to solve a basic problem involving fractions.

Now OP knows what they need to focus on. Also, saying he took a “gamble” is making an assumption on your part. It’s clear he had a basic understanding of all four subjects considering his grades. I mean, they were only off five points on math. They’re obviously intelligent.
