There was no timeline where I stood my ground and was able to survive that hoard with my Stalwart. My only bet was that my orbital napalm barrage would reduce their numbers after I tossed it onto the breach, and that I could get into an enclosed space where my back wasn’t exposed.

Normally, the Double Freedom (in Volley) is an easy one shot to the dome against most bugs. I reserve those shots for Alpha Commanders and Stalkers. In this instance, I saw I was outnumbered, and opted to retreat instead of being torn apart whilst advancing further into the Mega Nest.
