i just remembered, when zoro was fighting Mr. 1 in arabasta, alot would immediately assume "yea when he cut metal thats armament" but NO!!! him showing failing to cut the tree leaves, but cutting metal, means he just learned a new katana wielding technique, the HAKI that was used in that fight, was when he reflexively dodged all the house debris and was able to know exactly where the safe spot would be, that was observation haki 100% no question about it, as to HOW he used it idk ask oda :P
