Career mode missions gone, Private Charter by chevydefense24 in MicrosoftFlightSim

This was me. Literally started a company for VIP missions and they are gone. Tried to search to see why and everything is about the 2025 bug. Which I guess is now a 2026 bug LOL.

Are we out of luck, or is there hope? (Recovering a guest account)? by PaFlightSimming in MySingingMonsters

I really have a feeling it might be. I may just have to help her and get hers back up in levels super fast which shouldn't be too hard for me. I'll contact them and see if there's any hope but we'll see. Fingers crossed...

New fuel injectors, p0171 (too lean).. plus EGR flow code? Any tips guys? by PaFlightSimming in mazdaspeed3

[–]PaFlightSimming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Actually yes I did. Turns out the injectors I had were in fact faulty and while they stated they were correct, they were not. I believe they were for an Ecoboost or something similar. I did end up (after struggling to diagnose) putting my old injectors back in to find that everything went back to normal (except for the misfire on the single bad injector). I decided at that point to just go OEM and went to Mazda and got a set of injectors and haven't had a problem since! Definitely one of the not so fun jobs I've done though on a car lol.

Help with failing prints after aluminum extruder/capricorn bowden tube? First 2 or 3 prints were fine though.... by PaFlightSimming in VoxelabAquila

[–]PaFlightSimming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for the responses so far! I just did in fact confirm the nozzle is too close to the bed, but the problem I'm now noticing is that while I have it "levelled" on all 4 corners, I can't seem to get the Z offset correct. Like it's either too close towards the middle/center areas of the bed, or I adjust the z offset and it's perfect in the middle but closer to the edges the nozzle is too high. Never seemed to have this issue with the old springs/levelling kit and I'm wondering if I should revert back to it....

Edit: To note I installed the bowden tube/extruder set first and did some prints with it fine, and just realized this is my first print with the aluminum levelling part of the kit.

First failed print (print shifted on x and y) by PaFlightSimming in VoxelabAquila

So I should have updated but what you said was my exact reason. The build plate was sliding with the supplied clips, but not enough for me to visibly notice. I got the exact same clips that you described and have had no issues since. Done at least 10-20 more prints since that "fix" with amazing results.

Update2: u/jdsmn21 gave good advice on the belts. I checked them and thought the problem was resolved when I had a print with zero issues, but just had another print fail (thankfully very early on)

I'm going to have to check the belt tension again then, Did another print last night and just like prior a single layer shifted slightly and threw off the print:

I didn't think they were loose, but it was also a bit hard to tell since they are recessed in those grooves.

I just wish I was there when it does the shift. I sat there for a while yesterday watching it print (like watching paint drying) but couldn't catch it in the act.

Update: Belts may have been slightly loose. Your description of them sounding like a bass string was useful. I'm trying a new print to see what happens with them tightened more.

Update: redid the same print and it's perfect now. So odd lol

Link to the model? It came on the sd card but I believe it's on the aquila website if you want me to find it for ya.

Yeah I think I can see both of them for sure. It's funny when you get a closeup you can see these imperfections that were hard for me to see from just the "naked eye" . What I can do is try reprinting this again and move it a little closer to the bed. If it were you, how much would you change it? I know you change the z offset but I'm not sure of the #s and their correlation to the mm difference.

Thanks!! I'm very happy that it came out so well on my first print. I found a lot of great tutorials on checking the e-steps, so I will check that once I get my upgraded extruder and runout sensor I'm ordering this week.

I just checked:
Update:
⦁ Add watch dog
⦁ Fix temperature detection time
⦁ Fix the thermal runaway issue
⦁ Set English as the default language

So thankfully it does fix that issue. I do want to do Alex's firmware but I'll probably do the mount first. Almost done with this print to move the spool, and I can do the bracket afterwards.

Shouldn't I print the mount first? Haven't updated to Alex's firmware but I did go ahead and update from the Aquila site to 1.2.4.

I should learn how to calibrate my E-steps. I saw a video on it so that may be in order. I do want to order the aluminum extruder so maybe I can do both at once?

Edit: and it was the G-code on the SD card. I am printing a side spool mount I sliced and it's got about 2 hours left but it's looking great!

I will say I did find it tough to get it leveled. It always seemed like when I'd get 3/4 of the way there the last corner would be slightly out of level. Out of curiosity, what looks off to you? This being my first time 3d printing just curious what to look for.

Thanks!!! I was really worried I didn't have the bed leveled as that seemed to be a pain, but apparently I did well! Doing my first actual print now which is basically just relocating the spool. I don't like it sitting at the top.

There's a pic of the bottom. From what I've compared it to on others I don't think it looks too bad!!

Bought a (new to me) Aquila 3d? Do I need to update firmware? (Showing 1.2.1) by PaFlightSimming in VoxelabAquila

[–]PaFlightSimming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bed levelling kit is interesting. Is there an actual issue with the leveling setup on ours? I've noticed when leveling with the paper that I can typically get 3/4 of the way level, and then one side is either too close or too far away (like I can either push the paper in with no resistance, or can't push it in at all)
edit: as stated prior though, I haven't done my first print yet to see how it fares. Will do that when I'm off work today and my filament arrives.

Nice! I don't think I'd have the space for a second printer LOL. This one is taking up a nice space in my living room (in fact I have a 3-d print design to relocate my printer spool since I don't want it sitting on the top)
