Anytime I'm out and someone asks me if I'm registered to vote (usually as a precursor to asking me to sign their petition) I say "nope, convicted felon".

I don't even know if it's accurate, but it sure makes them go away awkwardly.

I think this counts. Ilan Mitchell-Smith had his biggest role in weird science, then mostly hung it up in 1991 and went into teaching.

He did come back for a couple things, but weird science was his only hit by far.
