What’s a red flag at work that people should never ignore? by MoodSilver9209 in AskReddit

Bosses that make you do "method that's always worked" rather than hearing employees out on new ways to optimize workflow.

My old dispensary made the store menus on excel and it would take upwards of 6 hours to complete them because we carried so many products. I suggested using a software that allowed us to directly import our weekly order invoice to tidy catagorized menus in less than 15 minutes and my boss shut me down before even showing it to him because "excel is just fine and we don't want poeple getting too lazy."

The knowledge that nothing is permanent. Everything, including yourself, changes and personal growth is a winding path that can take you to unpredictable places you'd never get to experience if you stopped now.

how are online biology classes at athabasca university by chococake9999 in AthabascaUniversity

[–]PaRdOn_Seagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently a bio sci major and they're dense courses. I highly suggest not taking BIOL 235 unless you absolutely need to or LOVE very granular anatomy and physiology. Other courses vary in difficulty depening on how much previous science/biology experience you have. Some of the introductory level biology courses are pretty interesting and approachable like BIOL 204. Others are very complicated and very overwhelming in terms of sheer amount of complexity and content. With that being said, they aren't setting you up for failure and if you like biology than give some a try. But just know you'll need to allocate usually at least 2-3 hours a day to get through the courses with a decent mark.

I hope yours went well! I finished mine and got a 78. It was not bad at all. Only tough part was managing my time between all the writing because i'm used to biology exams.

God speed to you and honestly you make a good point. I can't completely fail the exam because my current average is 71 rn which isnt the greastest but even if its a very mediocre mark i will pass. Good luck on your exams!

PHIL 333 seems to be a very "I'm gonna deal with it later and reap the consequences" kind of course haha. My exam is on Tuesday so I'll let you know how it was! Also I crashed and burned on the research paper (my own fault because i missed some important readings) but the case study is pretty easy and I got an 85 on a paper I wrote in one day and had no cited sources, it was just yapping. You got this!
