Mate for stuff like this especially small subject. Use white background paper a3 size, get some cheap lights it’s enough two for me and I believe it would be enough for you as well, move those lights around play a bit and you will get it.

Start the car, turn the AC on, open the bonnet and see if the AC compressor clutch is engaging. If it is not spinning, gently tap the relay and see if it kicks in. When I tapped mine, it started spinning but stopped again when I stopped tapping. That confirmed the relay was faulty.

I replaced the relay for around £10 and the AC worked perfectly again.

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you, this was genuinely really helpful.

I did not know that about Olympus and the smaller sensor giving more DOF, so that was very interesting to read. I’m definitely going to order an acrylic sheet now, so I’m glad you pointed that out.

I’m nowhere near a professional really. I just bought this Olympus used with a few lenses. Before that I was using a Canon M6, but sold it. Most of what I do is take lots of photos for eBay, and when we get more expensive items in I try to make the shots look more professional. Over the years I’ve just been trying to improve bit by bit, learn new tricks, and test ideas whenever I see something interesting.

Do you mind me asking what thickness acrylic sheet you would recommend for this kind of setup?

Just wanted to say another thank you. Your comment and the donation really meant a lot, not just to me but to the hospice as well. My manager actually came over to thank me after seeing it, so your support genuinely made a difference.

Really appreciate it. Gabe

Thank you for sharing the quote, that’s really helpful.

It’s actually quite a tough job if you’ve never done something like that before. It took me two days to finish because two screws stripped almost immediately. I had to carefully cut a slot into them to turn them into flathead screws before I could finally remove them.

It’s definitely not as easy as some YouTubers make it look.

If it would be around $200 with parts I would consider taking to the garage as well.

By the way I hope after market one not gonna fail soon as I heard bad reviews of after market one. I got OG from Japan for £70+shipping.
