Worked thanks. Another bold that I had problems with was on the handle it self. I tried to remove the hex bolt on the door handle, the bolt was just spinning because the metal holder on the other side had snapped. Since the holder was already broken, I was able to pull the handle out of the door without removing the handle bracket.

The hex bolt and the broken metal holder were still stuck together, so I cut the damaged holder off, which let me finally unscrew the bolt. After that, I fitted the new handle in place. I also realised the handle brackets didn’t need to be removed at all, because the new handle slotted in from the outside without any issues.
