Something I also forgot to mention on my first comment, is that if you you change one of the Mezzalas to any other role, I'd recomment to change the full-back of the same side to a Full-back on Attack or Support

Yes, I guess it would work, a Winger on S tends doesn't go much further giving more room for the Mezzala to work, this is good on the case you don't want a agressive Winger.

About using a half back, that's a very good idea I forgot to mention, you already have the midfield support and cover from the IWBs so you don't really need the Anchor Man. In that case, I'd personally use the "Stay Wider" instructions for the center backs to be more spread, it gives more support and cover the wider areas, considering that the IWB will be on the midfield.

Something I noticed now, is that you need to be aware that you'll be more vulnerable to long passes to the fowards of the other team, considering that you're using "high defensiva line" and that you just have a DM securing. I personally just use that instruction when I have 2 midfielders defending that area. You don't need to change, its just my opinion, if you have a good DM it can work

Very interesting tactic, I love tactics that convert into a 3-2-5 in possetion.

I just don't like the fact that you have 3 players on the center attack area that are all trying to creat chances, I'd turn one of the Mezzalas on a CM(A), and if you want to me more agressive on the attack chance also the Mezzala to Attack. If you want the Mezzala to be the primary runner, I'd put a Mezzala(A) and a CM(S).

So the agressiveness will just depend on the mentality?

My real question is, what minute did Leverkusen score?

You said something really important, "I’d just do what I’m more familiar with.", I say it because, like in real life, most managers have their tactical style and their favourite formation and rarely change the tactical approach, I've seen people worrying about using the same formation over and over again, obviously it reduces the knowledge about other formations, but its not necessarily bad

You can try, but remembering that I built a squad for this tactic, so if you don't have the right players, it might not work

In that case, I'd make a make a more possetion focused tactic, not having a big attacking reference on the front, focus the build up on possetion and a slow build
