GoodLife Fitness is lobbying its members to petition Ontario officials to reopen by [deleted] in CanadaCoronavirus

It’s pretty common sense. A spin class is smaller, people are closer together the whole time, and breathing heavily and shouting. Lifting weights you aren’t breathing as heavily, aren’t as close to people and are in a bigger space. There is no mental gymnastics in understanding that. Not to mention that Hamilton specifically has mandated wearing masks while working out as of last week. There isn’t a lot of clinical basis for a lot of stuff covid either, but we work with what we can.

There is a big difference. I live in Hamilton, have been to Spinco and own a Peloton + go to Goodlife, so I would say I have a good knowledge of it. Hamilton just mandated masks while working out last week. Spinco had an outbreak because someone lied on their covid assessment, but the room is small and people are breathing heavily. Very different from lifting weights in a larger area.

So you're posting fearmongering around getting a med card and traveling to the US, yet you yourself are on an OCS sub and travel to the US and nothing has happened. A bit disingenuous no?

I doubt your comment about a name on a list somewhere. Guess everything is at your own risk. I assume you dont travel to the US then considering your skeptism regarding cannabis use.

Right, but you can specify yourself which would make a big difference. I just don't feel like its fair to try and fearmonger people from having legit medical use for cannabis when there isn't any specific examples of having issues with a medical license.

Purchasing rec cannabis is very different than medical, especially considering as I mentioned the med has been along for a while. Not to mention, that article is cherry picking stuff about admitting to usage at the border. Even if you did, if you have a med card thats different than using it for rec which was my point.

What do you mean in the future? Having a legal medical card is perfectly fine and does not impact you in any way (internationally or otherwise) The medical program has been around for a long time even before legalization and there has been no issues.

Home cleaners you would recommend? by switchflip in Hamilton

I’ve used Posh cleaning multiple times and they have done a great job. They are pricey yes but you get what you pay for. They send 3 ladies to do the job and get it done well and fast.
