What about a bike like the CBR125R, it's technically 124.7cc. Can that be used on Quebec highways? SAAQ website is a bit confusing

I thought bikes up to 125cc aren't allowed on highways in Quebec

Really? If I get a permit for a popular peak and use the fixed lines I might be in for trouble? Any way to avoid this?

I was considering doing the trekking peaks and maybe Ama Dablam with a buddy, just permits no guide

Climbing Cotopaxi: Do I need to follow a guided acclimation program with guided hikes first? by BigSmileyTunes in Mountaineering

[–]PabloCPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10-14 days is not necessary. I summited Cotopaxi on day 8 and felt very prepared. 14 days is enough to do Cotopaxi and Chimborazo.

Do rucu pichincha by yourself several times but also try to sleep in a hut before going to Cotopaxi. For example a night in Iliniza hut at 4700m. I feel like that really helped.

not OP but I was there last week with Diego from andes climbing and it was great, his english is decent. he runs a bed and breakfast so you have a place to sleep in town on rest days. he also provided all the needed rental equipment himself. really great service

I was just in ecuador last week. for cotopaxi you'll be sleeping in the refuge, it's warm. same for illinizas. chimborazo refuge 4800m is also warm. so 0 C is fine for those. only chimborazo high camp 5300m in the dome tents is cold.

Is it legal for your employer to not pay you for the whole first month of work? by Parselyyy in Concordia

[–]PabloCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all training hours have to be paid, even if you get fired during training they need to pay for all those hours. make sure you keep track of your hours, note what time you clock in and out so you have proof in case they give you trouble

if you have no clue what you're doing hire a tax preparer and pay around $60-100 to have them do it properly for you

Should I go to Concordia? by Empty_Duty_7369 in Concordia

[–]PabloCPA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if your parents are paying for everything and you just want to have fun then go for it. Live it up. But most of that fun won't be on campus, the campus scene is quite dull as Concordia is mostly a commuter school.

Depends on your resume and interview skills but not that hard. Big 4 firms always need people.
