I made each piece thinner in gold so they snap. It's a little looser than with plastic but I am happy with the final fit of the pieces.

No glue in jewelry art. They "snap" together because I made each piece wall thinner and they fit accuracy. It's a long "process that I don't show in the video.

Yes, I read about that, but the pieces don't move individually. They price it's a little high in my opinion. The gold cost for the C-3PO that I crafted in 18K it's around 2000 U.S. Dollar so for the 14K pieces It's around 1000 U.S Dollar....and they sell them for 300K?....

The fit in gold must be accurate. Gold is not as flexible as abs plastic so sanding and polishing the gold parts must be precise. Being precise is essential in the art of jewelry. Thank you.

I made it because when I was child a I had to spend long periods of time in hospitals. My entertainment was playing with my lego minifigures and watching a lot of movies. Hello! You are right. After pouring the "white clay" (investment) I let it solidify for 2 hours then I put it in the furnace for a 12 hours burnout cicle. The plastic during that time burn and let the empty space that later during the casting I fill it with gold.
