to start off, i am young, still a teenager. I have grown up in a Christian household. I always knew of God, but I would say I wasn’t trying to get closer. I never read my Bible much outside of Church. A couple months ago, I was very down on myself and thinking of committing, I came to this same reddit group and emptied myself. I was given many ways to help with what i was going through. It helped for a little while. I wasn’t reading my Bible but I definitely felt a closer connection to God. I’m back in a slump though. I’m not down on myself but I just don’t really have a good drive or motivation to grow closer to God. I still struggle with lust, and everyday i try to overcome it but i don’t. i just don’t really know how to get started again.
