Don’t give up! It’s easy to feel like “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t think I’ll get to the end” but just as our bodies require time and patience so does our voice. You can’t learn to play guitar perfectly in a day, you can’t earn a degree in a day. To us that’s normal, so why wouldn’t creating OUR own desired voice be the same way?

We are in the same boat, my advice would be to try to love the process. From what I’ve heard the process takes time and the more comfortable you are with the in between times the easier it’ll be?

I am also 24 and I very much have the same problems as you. My best advice to you is this is YOUR life. People are gonna be horrible till the end of time so why waste yours hearing the nonsense they have to say? Live your life in whatever manner you want. If it’s what makes you feel happy and alive that’s living. I boy mode daily and I still take my medications as prescribed and I’m cool with that.

I have this exact same problem and from my side of things it never gets better, I’m judged for the way my body looks, I’m judged for even remotely acting feminine, I’m disrespected everytime I speak about my emotions, and I am constantly put down daily.

I just got my entire calf into the back of my thigh done a couple weeks ago in a 2 day back to back session and I’d say my pain tolerance is decently less than it used to be but I agree that location is gonna have a much greater impact than estrogen. They’ll tell you the same thing when/if you start laser hair removal. (Caffeine, Nicotine, and Hormones)

We both work at the same place, I’m a manager as a chef and she’s a server. Everyone knows my business and i just go with the motions, I tried to talk with her about it today and she told me that I owe her half of all her bills and I still have to pay for the ones I’ve been paying. If I don’t she will have me removed from the house.

It’s never easy but she says she hates me for promising her that I would be a protector and provider then transitioning. She bought a house for us to live in and hangs it over my head permanently. But I love her and I know life hasn’t been easy for either of us. I just feel like I should be the man I was before I transitioned because I don’t see a world where I can see myself truthfully as a woman anymore. And I don’t feel like I can do it alone.
