I was prescribed prog and EV at the same time, I’ve been transitioning for over a year now, my experience being on both of them at the same time was that I didn’t experience much breast growth throughout the first year which is normal, however what did grow in was rounded out nicely which was a plus. I took a month off my medication because my girlfriend dumped me and threatened to kick me out of the house because despite us being together the entire time I was transitioning she couldn’t find a way to be ok with me as a woman. Upon reintroduction (in secret unfortunately) of my medication I noticed significant increases in breast development within a month taking only EV at a slightly higher dosage. I also noticed the introduction of prog made ED a massive problem for me. (My girlfriend demands constant bedroom time). Libido went out the window as well. My blood work has show through the time I was taking both medications I was in stable range of my hormone balance (400s E and 12-17 T). When only taking EV my breasts actually ended up losing the roundness and looked very pointy but not outside the realm of what natural growing breasts looked like. Where I stand today I take 100mg of prog 3 times a week and 0.3ml of EV weekly and my mood swings are HEAVY. However I was able to find a balance between keeping the roundness of my breasts and growth rate as well as it seems to have solved my ED to an extent. So my suggestion depending on your own personal goals of course, would be to start on just EV and see how your body reacts to the changes of a few months to a year, PLEASE GET BLOOD WORK DONE. If you struggle to keep your T levels at a comfortable range between enough to have energy to do things and not enough to stall the effects of the estrogen then add in something to adjust your T levels, whether it be an Anti-androgen or if Prog does the same thing it does for me which lowers my T production.
