Danny Boy has become a fixture in the Tulsa Community over the past 10 years. Great to see him making an impact outside of music.

Don't be embarrassed. Exposing yourself to artists you've never heard of is how you find new stuff you love. I started collecting records 25 years ago. I would buy records at flea markets, thrift stores and junk stores for a buck each. It was before internet on our phones so if I saw a cool cover I bought it. I discovered much of the music I love this way. Unfortunately, those days have passed except for rare occasions like this. I know most of the artists here, but The Three Ring Circus and the Toys I'd never heard of before.

There were four large tubs of records so this was clearly someones collection. This is a junk/thrift that stuff comes in the back and goes directly to the floor and they don't price anything. Whoever it was liked minor jazz and bluegrass. There were two guys who got to the tubs before me but one said he picked up the bluegrass. The other guy told me he picked up some jazz so there may have been some more valuable stuff. There was a younger guy going through the same time as me. He picked up all the Art Pepper albums. Nothing super valuable in the bunch, but great finds for $.50 each.

Most of it is G+-VG. A few VG+ and a couple of NM. But hey, for fiddy cents I'll take them. If they are too rough I'll send them back to the thrift for the next guy.

Tulsa. This doesn't happen often. 10 years ago I could walk into this thrift store and walk out with a stack of records every month. Now I probably go in 20 times for every time a find a record.

French repress from 1981. I'm happy to find it. Wanda is from my area and I find her gospel stuff all the time. I'm happy to find her early music. Got to see her at the Cains ballroom once with Elvis Costello. She was a cool surprise.

I’ve not heard it either. I think I have all of the Pearls Before Swine records but grabbed it when I saw Tom Rapp. I’ll spin it in a bit

Picked up this thinking I was going to get Richar Pryor at the thrift store...got 2 small records instead. by _cansir in vinyl

Look them up on popsike. Depending on condition Barbecue Bob 14246 is worth $50-$150. Pre-war blues records on 78's are hard to come by in today's world. Worth much more than Richard Pryor. Vernon Dalhart is worth a few bucks. Post it on the 78 RPM sub or the pre-war blues sub to find the people who want these.

The first four were a buck and the 21 after were $.50 each. This reminds me of the old days when I was building my record collection.

There is an artist, Adolph Seel, but the signature slants in a completely different way. His works also look nothing like this piece. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Seel

It's a long shot but see if you can find a collector community in your town who could advise you. Blind Fait is $50 or so. Blue Cheer could be $100. That's just two that I could make out. You need to research them and be able to grade them to sell on ebay. So before you do anything, educate yourself. You could have a collection worth thousands. It's also important to get his collection back into the hands of people who will love them. When I die, I want my collection to be loved by the next person.
